Great location, lovely cafe, friendly staff, always an enjoyable stay, rooms not overly large. but comfortable. A very pleasent place to stay

Best Location in town. Great little motel with great ocean views on the western side and although it overlooks a deserted site the sunset views are great. Everything you need for a stay with a short walk to the fab C bar and the best pub in town the seaview.

We had to haul out our boat for the antifoul and needed a place to stay. This is an older, budget hotel and I wasn't expecting much and was pleasantly surprised. Check in was easy and the young lady at reception was welcoming and accommodating. The room was small, but cosy and nicely refurbished. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was very warm when I arrived, but the aircon worked well to cool it down. My only critique is that even though there was a lovely desk/work area, there were no power points nearby and I had to run an extension cord from the powerpoints across the room to power up my devices. There were boxes available, but had not been set up to have power points. You can probably see this in my photos. In the morning I got a convenient takeaway breakfast from the cafe out front. The motel was right on the foreshore and walking distance to cafes and restaurants. My husband loved it and wants to stay again sometime. We can highly recommend this little jewel on the Strand.

The Manager, Robyn was very welcoming. The location is excellent, it is on the Strand and a short walk to the supermarket and shops. Next door is the hotel where we had dinner one night and other restaurants close by, those we ate at were all excellent. Being on the strand there was entertainment and activities such as a large number of people enjoying a drumming activity, sand sculpturing and food vans and also a stage with great live music. The room was clean and beds were comfortable. There was a ceiling fan and a split system which made our relaxing and sleeping time perfect. Every day we used the pool which was very clean and refreshing. Any request for extra towels or room requirements were attended to immediately. Now we know this Motel it be our go to place when visiting Townsville.

terrific - clean and location location location- great location and very clean - conveniently located and a must - good TV reception- good WiFi' great hot shower microvave e - being in a vicinity of a lot of food options and the beach ! ( lots of stingers) be aware and great Air-conditioning with cieling fan and clean sheets

スクールホリデーに息子と2人で出かけたブリスベンへのロードトリップの帰り道、この旅最后の宿泊地?タウンズビルでStrand Motelを2泊3日で利用しました。 マッカイからタウンズビルまではブルースハイウェイを车で390km北上し、途中のボーエンでの昼食休憩を含めて约5时间半かけて到着しました。夕方5时ごろ、モーテルから到着予定时刻确认の电话がありました。 宿泊予约は事前に某ホテル予约サイトから行いました。到着后は事务室でチェックインし、宿泊料金の支払いも同时に済ませました。チェックイン担当の男性スタッフは话好きで亲切でした。驻车场は建物の横と里にあり、滞在中无料で利用できます。 今回はクイーンベッドが置かれたQueen Roomを利用しました。滞在した部屋は2阶にあり、建物里侧の驻车场から阶段で出入りします。客室は19m2と広くはありませんが、2人での利用でも不便さや穷屈さは感じませんでした。建物全体に古さが目立っているものの、清扫がしっかりとされていて快适に过ごせました。室内には冷蔵库と电子レンジ、流し台が设置されているほか、トースター、电気ケトル、食器类も准备されているので、饮食物を持ち込む场合に便利です。部屋のバルコニーからは海が见えました。 客室ではコーヒーセット(コーヒー?红茶)が无料で提供されています。バスアメニティは固形石鹸のみの简素なもので、シャンプーやコンディショナーなどは用意されていないので各自持ち込む必要があります。连泊する场合でも清扫やタオル交换のサービスはありませんでした。客室から接続できる无料Wi-Fiは通信速度が速く、通信状态も安定していたのでストレスなく利用できました。 滞在2日目の夜にモーテル近くで発动机の作动音のような「ブーン」という低い音が午前2时过ぎまで连続的に鸣り続いていたため、なかなか寝付けませんでした。初日の夜は音が闻こえなかったので、この日は偶然だったのかも知れません。 Strand Motelはタウンズビル市内中心部から约1km离れたNorth Ward地区のThe Strandにあります。モーテル周辺には饮食店やカフェが点在し、すぐ里手に大型スーパーマーケットもあるので、食事や买い物にとても便利です。モーテル前のThe Strandに沿って整备された游歩道を、海やマグネティック岛を眺めながらのんびり散歩するのも良いものです。タウンズビル中心市街地までも徒歩15～20分ほどでアクセスできます。

This is our "go to" accom every time we come to Townsville for about ten years now. It's a bit dated but refurbishing is coming along and each time we come there are more updated rooms and grounds. This unit block is perfectly situated right on the Strand and is a short walk from the shops and cafes - in fact - the best brekky spot is part of this premises! Great coffee and food and the staff are always friendly. I won't tell you my favourite room number in case you want it at the same time as us but - cheap, friendly, clean, ample parking, well situated... book today!
