Hotel was a real treat. Originally built as harbourmaster's house 150 years ago and beautifully converted into a hotel 24 years ago. Great elevated location overlooking the ocean. Great breakfast. Lovely swimming off the rock platforms below hotel which is well sheltered from prevailing North wind. Lovely restaurant, Sta Volparia ,just below hotel. 5 min walk into town and when you arrive on ferry ,there is a free city shuttle bus every 30 mins that takes you right up to hotel. The city of Ermopoulis is really lovely with marble streets and grand buildings - we really loved our stay here. Highly recommended.

tres bel hotel sur la corniche de Hermoupolis , belle fa?ade et tres joli interieur , tres propre, confortable. salle d'eau neuve et tres belle. Terrasse pour le petit dejeuner avec vu sur la baie. Bon buffet.

Το ξενοδοχειο ειναι στην καλυτερη γειτονια του κεντρου, πλαι σε ολε? τι? ομορφιε? τη? πολη?. Η θεα απο τα δωματια προσωψη? και απο το roof bar που σερβιρεται το πρωινο ειναι εκπληκτικη. Το νεοκλασσικο στυλ του ξενοδοχειου ταιριαζει απολυτα με την πολη και η διακοσμηση με ταξιδεψε σε αλλε?, αρχοντικε? εποχε?. Το προσωπικο ειναι φιλικο και ευδιαθετο. Απο τα καλυτερα ξενοδοχεια που εχω μεινει! Οι φωτογραφιε? τραβηχτηκαν με το κινητο απο την βεραντα.

整栋建筑优美，海景美丽，离码头很近，陪朋友来按指纹，住在这里是一个惊喜，本来看评分不高有点担心，入住后感觉很好。

Location and view are unmatched. A favourite.
If you get a sea-view room the location is just spectacular. Room is good but quite basic and the decor is charming and a bit eccentric. Note no coffee faciltites in room but I think you can order coffee. We asked for ice and they brought us ice. Fridge in room is decent. The staff are very lovely and knowledgeable and Syros is really great. Ermoupoli is very special and this hotel is a really lovely place. Do go for a swim!

Magnifique h?tel, nous sommes partis en circuit libre faire les Cyclades avec notre fille et avons passé 2 nuits au Melathron à Syros. Nous n'avions pas choisi cet h?tel qui faisait parti de notre circuit avec voyage privé. Très belle surprise, nous avons vraiment adoré, un personnel d'une gentillesse, très accueillant et à l'écoute. Nous avons eu une grande chambre atypique joliment décorée avec des hauts plafonds, grande salle de bain avec deux vasques, et également un balcon avec une vue magnifique sur l'église colorée. Un petit déjeuner servie à table sur une terrasse en roof top vue mer ... magnifique. L'h?tel est très bien situé. De plus nous avons eu un coup de coeur pour cette ?le authentique et très propre. On remercie tout le personnel et recommandons vivement cet h?tel.

We ended up at the Melathron after the a/c went out at our original hotel. It was wonderful. The best views in Syros. The staff was very helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was on the rooftop veranda with views of the Aegean and was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is within walking distance of the "beach" and the city center. I look forward to returning to the gem for many years.
