Amazing, secluded, but convenient location with access to the only Moai and Ahu in Hanga Roa. Incredible sunset views, truly warm hospitality, and thoughtful touches made for a memorable and wonderful stay.

The excursions that were booked through the hotel were not entered in their system and we scrambled to rebook these.
The AC in the room did not work well and therefore the room was hot.
You need a taxi or rent a car to get around to the city and to most of the restaurants.
The staff was very inexperienced and the gate opener we received was out of batteries and couldn’t open the gate… no one in the hotel answered our phone..
Please note that there is no food or drinks in the hotel and the closest breakfast is 25 min walk from the hotel
Overall not the best experience for us.

The team at Tahai Loft starts coordinating your visit immediately. My time on the island was limited. Having the staff coordinate tours and transportation was very helpful. The room was beautiful and included a kitchenette.

Maravillosa experiencia en familia. Vista al mar, habitaciones limpias y un personal bastante amigable. Además tenían vista al mar y vista a los moai!!

Hotel maravilloso, desde el día 1 apenas baje del avion la atención fue personalizada. La habitación contaba con todo lo necesario, amplia, aire acondicionado, las instalaciones en estado correcto. Piscina y jacuzzi a libre disposición, con mi pareja en todo momento nos sentimos seguros y en tranquilidad. Tiene una hermosa vista para atardecer que se podía ver todos los días desde la terraza. Ante cualquier duda la chica de recepción nos atendió con muy buena disposición y respeto. Nos vamos felices por la elección que tomamos.

There are no amenities at all. No breakfast, no bar, no dinner, no help. Unfortunately, we had no dinner on Christmas Eve. Most restaurants closed, others fully booked. Staff couldn’t help and is gone after 3 pm.
That said, if you like to entirely self support, I agree the kitchenettes are cute (need to do your own grocery shopping though…that is, if you find a decent grocery store. Good luck!). Also, the place is very remote and there is no transportantion available to you.
The staff in general IS Very friendly. Not all of them are helpful or knowledgable though.
So in summary, the place is clearly NOT for people who need any kind of services.

Located only a 2 minute walk from the main publicly accessible statues, very convenient. If you want to eat at a restaurant you can walk along the beach into town past several dining options.
The only downside is the very occasional power cuts in the evening of a hotter day but they were usually only 15 minutes at a time when we were there end of December so manageable.

The location is truly magnificent, just a few minutes’ walk from Ahu Tahai (one of the island’s main sites), while remaining quiet and private enough to feel like a peaceful hideaway. The bungalows at Tahai Loft are spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean, with all amenities you need. A perfect balance between home?like warmth and thoughtful hotel?style convenience. Each morning I found a generous, varied breakfast waiting in the fridge, ready for me to enjoy at my own pace. It was such a considerate detail, a simple but deeply appreciated way to start the day without haste. The property also offers a small swimming pool and a Jacuzzi, available to guests who want to unwind after a day of island exploration. I didn’t use them myself, but knowing they are there adds to the sense of comfort and relaxation that Tahai Loft offers. A special mention to Valentina, the receptionist. Her kindness, availability and genuine empathy made the stay feel personal and cared for, not as a customer, but as a welcomed guest. Her presence truly elevates the overall experience. What a wonderful person! Tahai Loft delivers comfort, style and impeccable hospitality in a superb location. I enjoyed every moment of my stay and would happily return.

Our stay was terrific from beginning to end. The location is perfect: enough off the beaten track to avoid the “crowds” in town, but it’s only minutes walk away. And you are literally a hundred yards away from the Tahai, where you can watch sunset over the moai. We did that every night. The accommodations were wonderful—beautiful room with full kitchen that even in used a Nespresso. The staff was super friendly and professional, and they brought us breakfast every day. It was enough that we used it for lunches, and even for dinner one night when we were too tired to eat in town. There is a hot tub and a pool. The vibe is casual, tropical and welcoming. I recommend it without reservation.

Gracias a Tahai Loft por hacer tan especial nuestra estancia en Rapa Nui. Gracias, Valentina, por tu atención y tus detalles. Siempre recordaremos esos días con vosotros ... La ubicación inmejorable. Muy cerquita del Ahu Tahai, que es un sitio super especial de la isla. Las habitaciones espaciosas, decoradas con mucho gusto y disponen de una cocinita muy cuca. La cama enorme y comodísima. El spa maravilloso, con vistas al mar y a los Moáis del Ahu Tahai. En definitiva, muy recomendable y especial....
