The building was designed by the late Mr. Junzo Yoshimura,
a member of the Japan Art Academy,
who was also involved in the basic design of the new Imperial Palace in Tokyo.
We aspire to be a ryokan where every detail reflects thoughtful hospitality,
gracefully suited to the emotionally rich design of our space.
Since our founding in 1925 (Taisho 14),
we have held this wish close to our hearts and have continuously worked to fulfill it.
