Loved it
I loved this place. The family who own it are genuine and hard working. We visited pre-season but they accommodated us and made us feel welcome. The estate itself is charming and its proximity to Gargano National Park and Vieste is a plus. The restaurant food was delicious.

Chi dice che l'arcobaleno è solo un'illusione ottica... si sbaglia. Qui, alla Tenuta Padre Pio, l'arcobaleno lo si vive, si tocca, si sente, i suoi profumi e colori ti restano addosso, ma oltre ogni cosa la sua bellezza. Struttura curata in ogni particolare, tenuta in modo eccellente. Pulizia assoluta. Giardini meravigliosi. Le sistemazioni variano dalla classica stanza, al monolocale, fino alla villetta con cucina e 2 stanze. Tutte molto ampie, complete di ogni confort, con piccolo giardino privato nonché barbecue riservato. In aggiunta a tutto questo, relativo alle sistemazioni, si passa alla parte dedicata alla ristorazione. Un magnifico ristorante, perfetto per chi ama l'eleganza ed il romanticismo puro, ed al tempo stesso moderno, per coloro che amano la pizza, quella vera, quella buona, quella che... mamma mia che spettacolo. E che dire della braceria e le sue carni... o del pesce per palati sopraffini. Ed ancora, le piscine. Pulite, bellissime, anche per i più piccoli. E poi l'area giochi per bambini, ma anche per i grandicelli che 2 calci al pallone sotto il sole non mancano mai. E si continua, col bar a bordo piscina ed i tavolini per un aperitivo all'insegna del relax. Per non parlare della colazione al mattino, accompagnata da un magico e variopinto cinguettio. Certo tutto bello, perfetto, rilassante, elegante, potrei continuare ancora ma, quello che rende davvero magico questo arcobaleno è il cuore e la passione di persone magnifiche come, in primis, la Signora Maria. Solare, simpatica, elegante, dolcissima, alla mano, parlare con lei è talmente piacevole che il tempo ti scorre di fianco senza accorgersene. Il Signor Matteo, sempre e costantemente gentile, simpatico e praticamente onnipresente. Crediamo non sappia dire no, ci ha accontentati sempre... fantastico. E poi c'è Pietro. Non riusciamo davvero a credere come si possa essere così completi professionalmente e al tempo stesso così affabili e disponibili come solo un grande amico può e sa essere. E si ormai per noi è un amico. Perfetto ed impeccabile fin dal primo istante, sempre sorridente, simpatico e disponibile. Ma d'altro canto, buon sangue non mente. Grazie davvero di tutto e per tutto. Naturalmente consigliamo a tutti questa magnifica struttura. Ci rivedremo sicuramente. Un abbraccio ed un grande in bocca al lupo per tutto. Abbiamo scoperto questo piccolo angolo di paradiso...considerando che abbiamo alloggiato in pieno inverno ed era già magnifico sicuramente l'estate sarà il top ...ci hanno dato un piccolo appartamentino molto accogliente e riscaldato dotato di tutti i comfort...abbiamo trascorso una notte tranquillissima ...i nostri bambini super contenti...punto di forza la gentilezza del proprietario Matteo una persona squisita... sicuramente ci torneremo... grazie di tutto

Very disappointing. It’s a beautiful property in a beautiful area, but that’s where the beauty ended. We were there near the end of the season (mid October) and were only one of three people staying. We must’ve been stuck in the worst “rustic cabin”! Cracked walls, no soap in dispensers, broken shower. Then came dinner in the restaurant. Worst meal I’ve ever had in Italy! All deep fried. Felt like we were an inconvenience to the 2 people I saw there. Their wine was just ok.

Consigliatissimo a chi desidera soggiornare e visitare il Gargano , personale molto accogliente e disponibile , appartamenti ordinati e puliti ,anche il servizio ristorante ci ha pienamente soddisfatto.dovessimo tornare .da queste parti sicuramente sceglieremmo di nuovo questa soluzione

Beautiful resort,great winery, delicious kitchen,charming owners,kind and helpful. Family business.t Excellent restaurant on premises. Great. Cook. Nice waiter. They reserved for us an excellent restaurant in Vieste. Beautiful pools, sauna and jacuzzis, tasteful landscaping We will return! Very relaxing holiday .

All in all we had a great and relaxing time at Padre Pio in Vieste. Nice bungalows amidst the olive trees, the possibility to pick fresh vegetables from their orchard, unlimited use of the wash machine, great pools with different heights perfect for the kids, nice playing ground althogh some maintenance is needed. However, we had dinner once in the restaurant: small food, big plates and very creative kitchen, never again! In our apartment some basic items such as a salad centrifuge, the mokka, water glasses, normal size spoons, a sharp knife were missing. When we entered into the bungalow the beds in the children rooms were such that the door could not close! The managers had organised live music once without advertising it, the poor guy had to sing only for us! The most lametable thing is that the managers couple were employing a poor immigrant girl, very customer oriented and kind, despite the daily humiliations and the nasty treatment she was receiving all the time. Not appropriate for a resort which has the statue of Padre Pio within its premises! Pure disgusting hypocrisy.

Loved this place. Beautiful setting amongst olive groves. The main area with pool, restaurant is lovely with 3 interlinked circular pools of differing depth. It's beautiful at night. Restaurant is nice but a bit high end with a little one. Staff very friendly and helpful. Secluded kids play area too. Accommodation was clean and functional but lacked a sm sofa so not great to hang out in (hence not a 5 star) and a bit dark but outside patio was nice to eat on. 10 mins drive to Vieste. We would def stay here again.

Really lovely area and lovely grounds. The apartment itself was a little tired, eg no lampshades, nothing to hang the shower from. But it was good value and very easy for exploring the coast around Vieste.

What an absolute find. This property is 5 minutes outside of Vieste, set in wonderful grounds. Perfect for Self Catering and central for exploring, especially Forest Umbra. Luigi and the staff made us (all 12 of us) feel very welcome and if we needed anything it was sorted out. This is family friendly aswell as group friendly.
