Guest：We arrived quite late after a late flight, and the lovely hosts stayed up to greet us, which we really appreciated. The property itself is beautiful — a full house that guests basically have the run of, which makes it feel homely and welcoming. We were only there for a short stay, but overall, it was very clean and comfortable. The beds were fine, the shower pressure was great, and bottled water was provided in the rooms (though at room temperature, as it was a muggy night). My air conditioning unfortunately didn’t work, but my friends’ room was cool and comfortable, so it may have just been a one-off issue. The only other downside for me was that there were no solid curtains in my room — just sheers — which meant light from across the road shone in all night, and I prefer a dark room to sleep. If they could sort the air conditioning and add blackout curtains, it would make a big difference. Also, clearer directions to find the property down the long lane would help future guests. Otherwise, it’s a lovely, well-priced place to stay with genuinely kind hosts and great potential.
