The Ark Residence was a fantastic property as a base for us to enjoy Athens from. We were walking distance to almost all of the attractions on our list including the Acropolis (including museum), the Agora, the Plaka, the National Museum just to name a few; and we were walking distance to the excellent metro system that took us to Piraeus on the coast. There were numerous restaurants close by and shops were everywhere!
The property room itself was very spacious, clean, safe, and had excellent amenities: compact but full kitchen; two bathrooms (in our particular suite); separate bedroom with TV and AC; good sized living area with TV and with dining area and AC, as well as having a large recessed day bed (that has privacy curtains and quite comfortable); and there are free laundry facilities on site. But, by far, the best part of our stay was the amazing property manager Foteini! She greeted us when we arrived and went over everything comprehensively and answered all of our questions. She was so nice and very kind as well as having a great sense of humour and was genuinely interested in talking to us. We had one minor problem with the new AC and she was in the suite to see to it in less than five minutes, having the issue completely resolved within half an hour. Could not have been more happy with this property. We highly recommend it!
