This is one of the nicest B&Bs we’ve stayed in. Beautiful room, spotlessly clean, very comfy bed and the attention to detail is second to none. The room even had a fridge, plates and cutlery and bits to wash up. Lovely homemade flapjacks left for us on arrival too. Best breakfast ever with everything locally sourced and home made. Amanda and Tony are the nicest people, perfect hosts. Great location close to the coast, would not hesitate to book again.

A Wonderful Stay
We spent a wonderful 4 days at The Barns at Thorpe Market. It's in a perfect location, a oasis of calm, but ideal for visiting a wide variety of different areas including seaside resorts, coastal walks and National Trust properties. Check in was easy and there is ample car parking space. Our room was clean, comfy and spacious with plenty of storage and we made use of the communal outdoor seating area at the end of the day. We were especially delighted with the thoughtful touches in the room and the welcome gift of scrumptious homemade flapjack. We definitely had no trouble getting a goodnight's sleep. Breakfast was spot on and well cooked and we certainly didn't go hungry. Just loved the omelettes! The hosts, Amanda and Tony are friendly and extremely helpful. They always asked about our previous day and our ongoing plans and are very knowledgeable about the local area. Their tips and advice were very useful indeed.
It' a great place to stay and I highly recommend The Barns at Thorpe Market.

Fabulous room and friendly service. Great choice and quality of breakfast, nice touches of cakes, biscuits and water in the room. Not the best WiFi connectivity, and a warning Google maps direct you to the opposite side of the road!

We stayed for three nights and were very happy with the accommodation, the room was immaculately clean & welcoming, the bed was really comfortable & coupled with the peace & quiet of the location, we both slept very well. Amanda the host was more than helpful & her breakfasts are lovely, nothing is too much trouble for her. We based ourselves here whilst travelling around the local area, I thoroughly recommend The Barns & would definitely return.

Wonderful, relaxing stay. Everything has been wonderful for our 4 day, 3 night, stay at The Barns, Thorpe Market. Amanda and Tony are great hosts, lovely home-made flapjacks left in our room on arrival was a very welcome added touch. Amazing accommodation and Tony had a wealth of local knowledge for the North Norfolk coast line and was pleased to answer our questions. Our only critique is that as on approved Trip Advisor establishment, you are asked daily whether you require your room servicing; ie ; bed making, bin emptying, shower/basin cleaned, tea/coffee replenishing. Surely these duties should be a daily performance for a B&B establishment and not a request of or for the paying guest or are we being petty?!! Sorry, but never the less a wonderful experience and glad we met you both. Andrew and Sylvia.

Booked 4 nights at The Barn directly. Spoke to Gary on the phone who was very polite & accommodating. Was originally being put up in a double room, but when I rang the day before arrival, Gary informed me that I was going to be in the family room which had a lounge & kitchenette attached. This was unexpected but I was really pleased. Gary went above & beyond in dropping me & picking me up from local train stations & being my local tour guide! I loved my time in Liverpool & thank you Gary & Jen for being great hosts. I would love to come back & stay again. See you soon!

Fantastic, great value for money, best breakfast set up ever. The hosts could not have been more pleasant, accommodating and generous.. So it’s beyond me what Kemp P is going on about. We will definitely use the barns on our next visit to the area

Where do we begin, everything has been absolutely wonderful, from amazing accommodation, brilliant, welcoming, hosts in Amanda & Tony, great food ( lovely home made flapjacks, left in our room, on arrival, was a great added touch). Attention to detail brilliant, lovely base from which to explore this lovely area, new to us, easy access to everything on North Norfolk coast, the slower pace of life exactly what the doctor ordered!!!

What a fantastic retreat. Our room was excellent with everything top quality and clean. We must comment on the attention to detail with fresh milk in the fridge, flap jack on our arrival together with gifts requested by our friends for our arrival. Also what a great breakfast!!!! Thankyou to our wonderful hosts. Would highly recommend!!!

What an amazing little gem of a hideaway, but close enough to access all the Liverpool has to offer. 2 pubs within a 15min walk. But the star of the show has to be Gary, kind friendly & funny. We were welcome with a big friendly smile & a couple of jokes thrown in. The room's are beautiful, light airy & very clean. Bedding was lovely & fluffy, bathroom spotless. The little breakfast bundle provided in the room consists of fresh orange, milk,cereal, fresh fruit, yogurt selection. Tea & coffee with a jar of cookies. All we can say is if you want to chill in a beautiful surroundings this is the place for you. Also can not forget to mention Freckles & Ted the resident Alpacas. P.S Jen, Gary did a fabulous job of been chief bottle washer while you were away. So that can only mean 1 thing. Book another holiday. We will definitely be back.
