Another fabulous visit to the Berburry with such attentive hosts Wendy and Steve. Great location , quality local produce for breakfast catering for all diets. Festive dreamy hotel and use of the honesty bar at great value, and as mentioned Wendy’s home made cake. See you next year.

Wendy and Steve ensured we had a fabulous stay with a beautiful ensuite room, delicious breakfast with high quality local foods and a comfortable lounge/ bar which we could use when we wanted to. We highly recommend the hotel and look forward to our next visit.

We stayed at the Berburry when in Torquay for a friends birthday and had a great stay. The hotel is a short stroll from the seafront and the centre of Torquay, so well positioned. We stayed in a deluxe double which was spotless and very comfortable, and the bathroom had lovely toiletries and towels. The breakfast was first class and the owners were friendly and helpful with hints and information for our stay - a first class experience.

Had a lovely stay at the Berburry, Wendy and Steve are fantastic hosts. The hotel and room were spotless. Would definitely recommend and will be returning in the future.

We were recommended the Berburry Hotel from our neighbours and what a good choice. We were on a 3 day break to give my brother time off from looking after his wife (dementia)...and the Hotel was perfect in every respect

I had a wonderful stay at The Berburry! The location was perfect - close to everything but still quiet and relaxing. The food was delicious and great quality. Wendy and Steve were amazing hosts - friendly, attentive and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable. Their hospitality really made the experience special! I'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a welcoming and enjoyable place to stay!

My wife and I needed a break away and after much deliberation we chose The Berburry having read very good reviews. We were not disappointed, we were made to feel very welcome from “get go”. Both Wendy and Steve were excellent hosts and the accommodation we booked was spacious yet cosy and relaxing. Plus note being the breakfast, loads of choice and me being a bloke, loved the made to order cooked ones. ????. The Berburry would be my first choice if I return to Torquay ??.

I only stayed at the Berburry for one night, however it was a great stay! My train had arrived quite late in the evening and I was worried about having a late check in. But both Wendy and Steve were incredibly accommodating, greeting me in the evening and giving me a nice introduction to the bed and breakfast. They had even upgraded my room for me. Such an incredible service. The room was comfortable and clean. The room I had also had a great view of the garden. Tea was available in the room and chilled water (and cake) was also available at the kitchen, which was open. There was a lot to choose from for breakfast and it all sounded and looked very good. I wished I had stayed longer as it was such a nice bed and breakfast!

Das beste Hotel unserer Freien. Einfach perfekt. Zimmer, Lage, Frühstück, Komfort, Bedienung, Bett, Bad, Parkplatz! Alles restlos perfekt. Mehr kann man nicht wollen.
