Today we held a celebratory meal at The Bickley Mill. We were a large party of children and adults and we all felt thoroughly looked after. The staff were extremely accommodating and the food was delicious!

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay.
Fantastic staff, friendly and informative.
The room was spacious, clean, the best nights sleep.
The food was absolutely amazing, a wide variety on the menu to choose from.
I would definitely recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay. A lot of thought and care has gone into the decor and ambience and our room was really clean & comfortable as were the beds.
The staff were very helpful & attentive and dinner and breakfast were delicious with everything beautifully presented & freshly cooked.
Would definitely stay again.

Sunday Lunch .Roast potatoes Aunt Bessie's, broccoli past sell by date ,swede tastless ,meat tasted good but a small portion. However desert very nice ,coffee good ,staff pleasant, Will not be returning anytime soon .

Warm welcome by friendly staff. Lovely room with breakfast included. Great food at reasonable prices and good service. Would thoroughly recommend.

We chose the Owl room. Such a lovely place, in the countryside but close to places to visit. The breakfast was lovely- there was a nice granola mix, cereal, croissants and full English and toast. The room comfortable and relaxing. It was nice to see rabbits outside on the banks. Going to try the restaurant this evening! We will be back I’m sure.

I like the way they combine modern convenience with this very old building. I thought the decor in the rooms attempted to achieve this combination but it was a bit bland overall. Internet connection was great, and appreciated.
Some of my party wanted to stay up late….we were staying in preparation for a funeral the next day, which was taxing for all of us …staying up late was not welcomed by the staff on duty, and all the lights were turned off outside which made it a bit treacherous when returning to bedrooms.
