Such a great venue. Live music, brilliant atmosphere and fabulous food! Cat was also excellent with her advice and style of customer service! Made the evening even better!

Impromptu family meal in this very nice old establishment. Staff were great, welcoming and friendly. Extensive food offering, all good based on the clean plates. Wide selction of beer, cider and other drinks. Dogs welcome.

Stayed 1 night and had dinner in the restaurant. The team running the place are exceptionally good and the food was fantastic. Not down this way very often but certainly top of my list for another visit.

Just had the most amazing roast dinner at The Brewery Tap hands down the best! I went for the pork, while my mum and son had the beef, and every bite just melted in the mouth. Everything was freshly cooked to perfection. The team there are so accommodating, efficient, and genuinely happy to help, it made the whole experience even better. If you’re craving a proper roast, The Brewery Tap is the place to go! ?????

We had a really good meal here one night and drinks here another night. The staff are friendly and helpful and there is a good choice of beer. I was able to have herbal tea and my husband his proper beer. It is obviously popular with the locals and has a good atmosphere. If I am back this way this is a pub I will return to.

Good location. staff very friendly and helpful. lovely comfy room Great option for self service tea/coffee. lovely option of fresh fruit and continental breakfast available .in self service area. busy pub offering food which we didn't try as alternative restaurant booked. live music great. considering the busyness of the pub room was fairly quiet. all rooms up narrow flight of stairs - so tricky if mobility problems

Stayed in Abingdon for a weekend, booked table at The Tap Friday evening. Very busy, however staff were really attentive, beers were superb, food was even better, We consequently booked again for Sunday, same quality. A truly excellent venue for food and drink cannot recommend enough. Pulled pork was amazing.

We were not staying here but were temped by the extensive food menu. Their home made pies are to die for: we had the lamb & mint and their beef bourguignon and both were top notch: full of meat and served with a fabulous gravy. So good in fact that we re-booked again for the following night ! HINT: watch out for the Specials board to the left of the bar as you enter.

The food, as on all our previous visits, was excellent but the waiting time sadly was beyond what could be considered acceptable. We were told there would be a 30 minute delay soon after ordering but it was much longer and there was too long a wait between courses. The staff were excellent otherwise too but with a long journey ahead of us it meant less drinks and no time for dessert. Really disappointing because it’s one of our favourite stops when we are in the area.

Staff were friendly and helpful room ws clean comfortable and well furnished. Food was good, typical pub grub. Access to the room was a bit of a problem the staircase wss narrow and steep, not easily managed with large suitcasesor if not in the prime of life.
