The hotel is in the perfect location, with the heart of the village 100 metres away. The proprietor and his wife were extremely welcoming and friendly. They were very helpful and attentive. The room was very nice and a high standard of cleanliness was maintained. The breakfasts were superb and we were very well catered for.

Thank you to Ross, Charlotte and all the staff at the Broadlands hotel in Bourton-on-the Water, we had a lovely stay for 2 nights and your co-operation was really appreciated.

We travelled to Broadlands straight after our wedding to start to relax and rewind and we are so glad we chose here. The hosts were absolutely wonderful and work so hard. They made our stay so special. The room was lovely and had lots of character and was perfect for us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and beautiful. Location was excellent and it was so convinient having a parking space. We cannot thank you enough and would definitely recommend.

Quite disappointed with hotel, implies breakfast included meagre choice for continental breakfast, full English which I was expecting at ￡175 per night was additional ￡12 per person ! Hotel clean but very tired looking in places and plastic flowers off bedroom windows were faded and full of weeds.

We had wonderful time staying in the quaint very english cottage. It had living room on first floor with kitchen/dining and outdoor private patio area. The beds and shower on 2nd floor. It was perfect for our few days visiting the Cotswold area. The kitchen was stocked with eggs, juice, goodies...which was perfect for nice slow morning coffee and breakfast in our little courtyard. Walking distance to town and restaurants which made for relaxing evenings. The recommendation for Venezia Restaurant (family run) in town was perfect! It was a busy day outside that evening yet they found a table for us with great service and food (never rushed you and very attentive)!! Now back to Broadlands Hotel review...the young couple is making a good jump into hoteling business and are pleasant and very accommodating. The rooms were spotless and quiet area of town! Aside from shower bracket broken (owner was trying to source replacement), we had no complaints. Not over priced considering location in town. Would not think twice to go back!! I wish the young couple all the best with the business!!

Loved this place! Beautiful little bed 'n' breakfast with brilliant owners/hosts - Thank you for a fabulous stay! The location is great, charming rooms and a great breakfast in their sunroom to start off the day.

Fantastic location, great breakfast and comfortable rooms. Rooms are spacious and have two floors. Staff are super friendly and have a family vibe going which was super nice. Shame about the weather but overall if you need a place in the Cotswolds, look no further!

Firstly, the good points. The location is great for exploring Bourton-on Water and The Cotswalds. Easy, flat walk around town. We paid 10pounds for parking, which was ok. The toiletries were nice and thankfully our shower worked ok. The breakfast was tasty and a good variety, but you need to book your dining time. The cons, Our toilet did not flush often. The bed sagged in the middle. This made it uncomfortable to sleep on. The room was in need of a makeover.

Hotel molto carino ad un prezzo interessante, bella camera accogliente, ottima accoglienza, bel paesino. Ottima colazione all'inglese. La zona è veramente molto bella e ineressante. Cenato in ottimamente in paese. Lo consigliamo senz'altro.

Sadly not impressed. Bathroom very tired and i would say almost dirty. No remote control for TV, asked at reception but was told that there was one upstairs and it was universal, no it wasn't!! Breakfast, asked for poached egg on toast and my husband scrambled, received a plate with egg on it and two pieces of toast in a rack 5 mins later. Definitely not worth the money and wont be returning. Shame
