Room was very comfortable. Executive room so view was good. A few issues at check in. Apparently time on ******* does not match hotel. The overall response was that ******* is an external platform. Breakfast was ok. The rooftop was the selling point. Basic gym. Friendly attentive staff. Room service staff quite noisy in the mornings. Overall good for it's price point. Will stay again if nothing else is available.

Exceptional staff. Thank you Hannah, Grace, Joy, Stanley, Mabel for your being really friendly and helpful during my stay. Wonderful breakfast. I loved the variety of continental and nigerian dishes for breakfast. I didn’t need lunch on most days because breakfast was filling and tasty. Room to improve amenities. The air conditioning in the rooms need changing. I switched rooms cos the air conditioning wasn’t cooling but the new room wasn’t any better. The lack of AC makes it impossible to stay in the room all day so I won’t recommend the hotel if you plan on staying indoors all day. Overall, great price for location and amenities. Please fix the AC.

Located in town, next to the highway. It's a beautiful facility, the restaurant is big, clean and well-lit. The rooms were clean and spacious. The place can get hot, hence the need to check that the AC is working well.

This facility and its services including its two restaurants are world class. I am a US-based guest doing business in Lagos, and after staying at five star hotels around the world I would say without reservation that the staff at the Collosus are one of the most courteous and efficient. I personally recommend the business suite for your stay if you can get one. Even, Mr. Olusanya, the general manager will personally attend to you. Simply put, I will not stay at any other hotel in Lagos. Take it from this world traveler.

I stayed here 9 months ago and it was ok but nothing to report about, however this time i had a superior room and was pleasantly surprised of the quality of the bedding and furnishings. Very clean no moldy smells. Good staff, decent breakfast and restaurant convenient to airport. Would stay here again as it is well proced for the area.

This hotel will give the likes of Sheraton a run for their money. This,should really be a Five Star Hotel. The complimentary breakfast is a combination of the likes of Nigerian and Western delicacies. I enjoyed the 10th floor roof top restaurant the best. There you can catch a view of almost the entire Ikeja in the horizon. There's a roof top swimming pool that's lighted at night. There's another world class restaurant on the groud floor. My favorite on the menu is their Penne Chicken Alfredo which is also available on the complimentary breakfast buffet. The rooms are very clean and beds are quite comfortable. I haven't stayed in their standard rooms but I will recommend their executive rooms and junior suites without any reservation. Though I have always booked and paid in USD, I think prices are pretty below market value for Lagos.

Must stay at the Colossus was awesome! I especially liked the customer service we received when we dined in the restaurant. The servers, waitresses and staff were very professional and super helpful. The bed was very comfortable and Internet access was great! One thing that I would change is the fact that upon arrival we were told that breakfast was for one person only. Even though the reservation was for two adults this was what we were told. I believe that this is a rule that needs to be changed because upon reserving this room there was nowhere in the policy that states that breakfast would only be served to one person only. As a common courtesy to their patrons, The Colossus, should take pride in making sure that each and everyone of their guest is at least served free breakfast in the morning.

The Standard room that I booked for 2 people was lovely and clean. The issues I had were: - I booked for a reservation of a standard room for 2 guests with breakfast included twice over so for 4 people in total. 2 in each room). However during my check in process, I was informed that it’ll be for 1 person for the breakfast only in each room when the reservation was for 2 guests in 2 rooms. They charged me #20,000 for each person (#40,000 each for 4 night stay). How can The Colossus Lagos management believe that this process is right? This was a mis-selling, very misleading and deceitful service. It would’ve been nice if this was specified on the ad for this hotel in ******* though so that the guest will be prepared but it was not. Anyway please be mindful of this when booking this hotel.

Thank you for taking the time to provide this review.Please allow us provide clarity; we offer two different classes of rooms: Single Rooms and Suites.For the Singles, we correctly inputted on the ******* extranet that we offer complimentary breakfast for ONLY one person.For the Suites, we correctly inputted on the ******* extranet that we offer complimentary breakfast for ONLY two persons.While we did input on the ******* extranet that a Standard Room can accommodate two persons, we did NOT input that the guests will be served complimentary breakfast for two. We welcome feedback and reviews from all our guests but we must state categorically that there is nothing deceitful or misleading in our communication on the ******* extranet.
