In the words of Craig Revel Horwood......fab-u-lous! I have been travelling for many years, with and without Nichola and have stayed in some perfectly functional but very dull hotels. The Craft House is great, from the time you arrive in the beautiful terrace that is Elliott Street. Ian and Suzy are a delight and it is as if they are welcoming you to their home. At every turn, there is an interesting touch, even on every bend of the stairs. The bar is well stocked, I grew up in Devon and had no idea that we had such terrific local whisky locally, wherever possible produce is local. You can probably tell that we loved it and will be back. (I would like to be as neighbours, but Nic is happy as guests!) The magnificent Hoe and Plumouth Sound is a tiny walk from the front door, it is amazing if you can catch the sunrise before (the also terrific) breakfast
A stunning and stylish place to stay! The rooms are beautiful, the atmosphere welcoming, and the breakfast — absolutely unforgettable. Truly the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend this bed and breakfast to anyone looking for a special getaway.
Had a day out with a night stop in Plymouth and booked the Craft House. Its really lose to the Hoe, easy walking distance to the Barbican, National Marine Aquarium and the Theatre Royal. A warm welcome where everything was really well presented and the bed and bedroom exceptionally comfy. A couple of sundowners in the well stocked bar went down a treat. Really friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Exceptional breakfast - we will definitely be booking again for our next Plymouth stop.
The Craft House was perfectly situated for a few days exploring the beautiful seaside Hoe and the cobbled streets of the Barbican, the room was quaint and clean and Ian, Suzy and Twiglet were extremely hospitable. At one point, we mentioned that our GPS had gotten us lost earlier in the day, so Suzy walked us to the Royal Citadel to get us to the tour we'd booked on time. The breakfasts were delicious and filling. We hope to return!
We were just up for the one night for the music on Plymouth Hoe. It was literally a 10 minute walk from The Hoe which was handy because the weather was horrendous. We were greeted at the door by Ian and Twigs. The guest house is immaculately decorated and I was impressed as soon as I walked in through the door. We booked a cosy double which for the one night was perfect. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size and spotless. The shower was quite possibly the best shower I've had in any hotel I've stayed in. On checking out we had a brief chat with Ian and Suzy (and Twigs) who were really friendly and obviously worked really hard to maintain such a wonderful guesthouse. I would highly recommend staying there and we'd definitely go back.

Hi there Shelley, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a thoughful review. It was lovely to meet you both and we hope to welcome you back to The Craft House again one day. All the best
A lovely boutique style small hotel. All within local walking distance to the city or Royal William Docks. A friendly welcome and very clean establishment. All at a great price too. Parking though can be an issue. Speak to manager about securing a parking space. Will definitely stay again when in area.
Lovely hotel, Perfect location, very comfortable and tastefully furnished, lovely owners, would definitely stay again when next in the area. Perfect location if attending the summer sessions on the Hoe as only a short walk. Highly recommended - thanks Paul & Sarah
Lovely friendly B&B with very stylish rooms and a memorable and delicious breakfast. Owners are very welcoming and happy to help. Thoroughly recommended.
