Guest：We had room 12. Gorgeous, bright and spacious room with beautiful sea view. Comfy chairs to sit and watch the sunrise with morning coffee. Lovely, kind and friendly owner and early check in at 11.30. Easy to contact. Very relaxing stay and looking forward to returning.
Guest：Booked as a last minute weekend break with 8 year old daughter to catch the last bit of nice weather of the summer. Efficient check in, room was on 4th floor, lots of stairs but no problem. Twin room more than adequate for our needs and spacious en-suite with a decent shower, mini fridge was a great bonus especially as weekend we stayed weather was hot! Only gripes was my mattress was a little soft for me and the seagulls woke us at 6.30 but appreciate this is down to nature!! No parking which I knew about so parked in a car park about 5 mins away towards the West Prom, only cost ￡12 for 48 hours. The whole place was spotlessly clean and breakfast was excellent and friendly service. Location perfect for us right by the pier and plenty of pubs/restaurants to choose from nearby. We crammed in cable cars, boat trips, beach time (west shore, much nicer beach!) ferris wheel and plenty of time spent on the pier. Would happily stay here again, daughter didn’t want to leave!
Guest：Fabulous location right on the North Shore within a stone’s throw of the sea and a plethora of restaurants. Decor a little old fashioned and a bit too chintzy in places, but clean and comfortable with a nice spacious room. Decent shower, good breakfast.
Guest：We only found this Hotel by chance. We called in and Tess told us that they were fully booked, but she had a feeling that guests for one room were not turning up. She took our phone number and rang us back within three hours. Arrived the next day to check in. Brilliant hotel and staff.
Guest：Great location but apart from that I would not recommend this hotel Our room was on the first floor and the en-suite is not suitable for purpose cramped and difficult to get in and out of the bath to get a shower. No breakfast as owner is unwell and room service is under par each time we returned to our room to relax before getting ready to go out for dinner the room still wasn’t ready or had only been partly cleaned. Trying to make contact with the landlady was nigh on impossible. She makes you feel very welcome but after that you are on your own ignores bell on reception
