Excellent location , well situated , covenient to walk to all the nearby place of interest .?
All the hotel staffs are polite and friendly .?
Breakfast was simple but very well put together.?
Guest are able to have a free flow of drinks and snacks at anytime in the delightful lounge area.?
Will come back to stay if we are in Penang again .

I like the location. It's walking distance to UNESCO Georgetown. And there is a hawker center type food outlet just opposite with singers belting out Thai, mandarin and Cantonese numbers. Though it ends at 12 midnight.
It's an old mansion converted into a boutique hotel. Not able to drop off at hotel, as gate is not opened.
Reception is facing main door. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I stayed on the ground floor which is very convenient.
The room is comfortable, though being an old mansion, the light switches are not the most convenient.There is no water kettle in room, hence a lounge that is opened 24 hours where there are hot water, drinks and snacks..
The sound insulation is not very good, can hear singing and noise from outdoor pool.
Lucky not staying on 2nd floor as stairs is very narrow and tight.
There is an outdoor pool which I did not manage to view.

この歴史ある素敌なホテルに泊まることができて本当に良かったです。スタッフの方もみな优しくて、一人でもとても楽しくペナン岛に滞在できました。私の一生の思い出です。日本人にももっとこちらのホテルを体験して欲しいです????

房间很好很大，浓浓的百年建筑风情。老板人也很好，会细细地讲可以逛逛吃吃的地方，酒店早餐的KAYA酱也很好吃

超级棒的一晚住宿
如果想要体验槟城文化遗产酒店，我会首先推荐这家。价格比蓝屋和东家酒店便宜，小巧精致，房间很大，整个酒店是一个独栋的mansion，190年的历史。工作人员的服务也是满分，会带住客简单讲解所有的amenities。还有24小时免费的小lounge，性价比拉满！

Stepping into The Edison felt like entering a beautifully preserved chapter of Penang’s colonial past. The mansion is full of character — elegant, tranquil, and tastefully restored. The location is superb, making it easy to explore George Town’s vibrant streets and hidden gems.
While the breakfast could be improved in terms of variety and presentation, the overall ambiance, architecture, and hospitality made the stay truly memorable. A charming retreat for those who appreciate heritage with a touch of luxury.

Great staff and really lovely hotel.
if you're keen for something with some heritage but don't feel comfortable staying in a hotel that may give you the creeps, this hotel is perfect.
heritage + some neo-modern decor. enjoyed it very much.
breakfast was simple but sufficient. save your tummy for other yummy Penang food.
only complain is that the wifi was extremely choppy even though it was full bars. the team did a restart but the same issue persisted.
will come back for a stay.
