Shocking from start to finish. Having pre booked arrived to find they had allocated our table to someone else. Were then placed in a room on our own which was fine as we had young kids with us however it was very cold. Waited quite a while for staff to take our order. One of our part ordered a jacket potato which was nuked to within an inch of its being! It was actually inedible and when we raised this, the gentleman serving us actually asked what it was!!!! In fairness the staff were fine, the meal was taken off our bill and were given an additional 10% discount off our bill which was not asked for but very much appreciated. You have to question how a “chef” cannot even cook a decent jacket potato…….. Don’t think we will visit here again.

I was unsure how to rate today’s experience as the food was very good but the overall experience bizarre. We were in the pub when the lad serving brought the wrong drink (easily done) this was followed by the lady from the kitchen coming out and screaming at him and telling him to go home and then following him sound the pub still shouting. This was closely followed by the lady who has also written a review today coming in and being shouted at to go and wait in the hall by the lady behind the bar. I can honestly say we would not have been surprised is Basil Fawlty had jumped out! It is such a shame as we have been in previously and really enjoyed it and highly recommended it to friends, but after today’s experience, I am afraid I don’t feel the same.

We didn’t eat but wanted a warm welcome and a pint after a day of birdwatching and before returning to our camp site. We got exactly what we were looking for. A warm welcome, good crack with other customers, well-kept beer and a lovely little stop!

We were looking for somewhere to host an anniversary party and John could not have been any more helpful from the outset. The function room was a perfect size and they were kind enough to let us in with plenty of time on the day to decorate. The buffet was plentiful and there was a great selection of both hot and cold food and also teas and coffees with delicious cakes. The outside play area and bouncy castle were also very popular with the children at the party. The person working behind the bar was also very friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking to host a function.

Hi We have been coming here for at least 10 years , the food is very good , I feel as us as local we are not recognised as locals ???♀? However I would like to put a gold star for Jake and Sarah ? It’s a hard job and you do it really well ??

We spent one night at the Feathers on our way to Llandudno and Great Orme. The Bartender showed us to our room and was very friendly. The room was decent and I would say a good value for the price. We were there on a Tuesday so no bar noise. We were two of 5 people in the pub when we stopped in after dinner. The town is walkable and there are a few dinner choices and pubs and an old Castle that you can walk to.

Nice room. Clean, big bath and shower. Very friendly hostess But - I hadn't read the reviews carefully in advance. Facilities are shared - so if other guests elect to stay up till 3;30 chatting, they'll be outside your room. And its a music venue till 2:00 am on a Saturday. Right beneath your room. Bring your noice cancelling headphones!

We had a lovely short stay at The Feathers. The room was lovely, with an amazing bathtub and, best of all, AIR CONDITIONING, which we really appreciated as it was unusually hot during our visit.
The room was also very quiet at night - we heard hardly anything from the pub. I recommend the pub itself too, lovely decor and very friendly staff.
We would definitely stay there again, and absolutely recommend it to other travellers.
