The fort house is located conveniently close to the light house , the old dutch church and other sites within the fort and close to the fort gate in case you want to venture out to the city markets. The rooms were tastefully furnished and the staff is friendly and responsive to any requests. We had breakfast meals here , those were lovely! The only drawback is the windows still have a gap with the frame when closed so you'll have mosquitoes but the staff will give you a repellant if you ask. And the washrooms have no ventilation except windows which open directly into the common hall corridor through which all the guests have to walk to get to their rooms. A suggestion to the hotel would be to include a luggage rack because currently you have to squat on the floor to get things in and out of your suitcase.

We stayed for a night in Galle in the fort. The location of this hotel was fantastic. We walked the streets and enjoyed the night time ambience. The room was wonderful, great AC and a beautiful big comfortable bed. After a great sleep we walked the entire fort and then enjoyed my favourite meal in Sri Lanka for breakfast. The string hoppers with egg curry and the juice was the best I’ve tasted. This is a wonderful little boutique hotel. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.
