Beautiful place and great staff, but overpriced for the room. There were no direct windows, and the wifi did not work.

Von A - Z einfach nur genial!! Ein sehr besonderer Ort mit Geschichte und alle R?umlichkeiten sind sejr stlvoll und mit viel Liebe zum Detail gestaltet. Sehr freundliches Personal und das Essen, inkl. Frühstück, schmeckt wie im Himmel! Einfach ein MUST wenn man sich in Galle aufh?lt! ????

The breakfast menu al la carte was amazing!!! Great coffee , excellent service and facilities. Great location within the fort.
No tv in room but isn't needed. Rooms are large with a desk and sitting area. Bathroom beautiful with claw foot bath, spacious shower area. Pool area is lovely for a quick dip. Staff go above and beyond. Top pick for accomadation.

Lovely heritage historical small hotel. We were upgraded to a heritage room. Room was large with separate shower and toilet, and all very comfortable but the lighting was a bit too low.

Outstanding staff & service
Hotel location in heart of Fort Galle excellent. Staff service, friendliness and willingness to accommodate excellent. Beautiful buildings well restored. Excellent breakfast. I assume they are not 5 star as only provide some of the little extras in room that you would normally expect from like properties eg tissues, body lotion etc but that didn’t bother us! Our bed was a little saggy but that is the only fault we could find. They even gave us a very late checkout at no cost when we offered to pay which was very much appreciated & totally not expected. Highly recommend.

It is a wonderful hotel, with fantastic staff, clean and in a perfect location.
Gayan helped us on our arrival and breakfast time, he was so kind and made us feel really welcome.
Also, breakfast is absolutely super delicious with lots of Sri Lankan fruits and options and lovely coffee.

We loved the building's architecture and sympathetic renovation with historic features. The rooms looked beautiful and were very comfortable. The breakfasts were varied, and we had a la carte service. We didn't stay for dinner. Service was good once you found someone to help they were kind and hospitable. The location was perfect for exploring. History is a good room. Prefects is next to yhe pool which not appeal to some, but it has a freestanding bath.
The pool is great for lengths.
Our request for 2 single beds could not be achieved without adding a extra bed to a double room.

Eher gemischte Gefühle. Wir waren Anfang M?rz für 2 N?chte und hatten ein Zimmer im Church Bereich. Insgesamt ist die Einrichtung der Zimmer sehr spartanisch und unser Zimmer hatte in der Vergangenheit bereits Themen mit der Feuchtigkeit, deutlich sichtbar an den W?nden. Zu dem Zeitpunkt unseres Aufenthaltes hatten wohl Affen Ihren Spa? auf dem Dach und besch?digten es. Nach einsetzenden Starkregen hatten wir im Badezimmer mehrere Lecks im Dachbereich und somit Wassereinbruch. Für uns sehr unangenehm, aber auch sichtbar für die Verantwortlichen, die uns nur bedingt helfen konnten, da es keine freie Zimmeralternative gab. Zur Entsch?digung gab es eine übernahme der Rechnung vom Vortag in der Bar. Was zwar nett gemeint war, aber den Unannehmlichkeiten nicht ann?hernd entsprach. Ich denke insgesamt, dass die Unterkunft Ihren eigenen Anspruch nicht gerecht wird.
