The Harbor Inn has recently changed ownership and this is their first season under the stewardship of the owners and their son Michael who is the innkeeper. My stay was excellent and Michael was a very good host and breakfast cook. The weekend breakfasts are more elaborate than the weekday ones but the weekday ones include the usual continental items as well as meats and cheeses. They include a nice selection of coffee, teas and juices as well. The check in process was easy and Michael made sure to provide any items needed during my stay. There are nice touches in the rooms such as nightlights in the bathrooms and towel racks and hooks placed in the smaller bathrooms. This home was built in 1905 so smaller rooms and baths are to be expected but I was very comfortable and had no issues. The beds and linens were nice. This is a typical B&B lodging with television provided in a common area rather than individual rooms. Michael has set out a jig saw puzzle in the common area that came in handy during a rainy day. I saw families playing board games as well. Michael is very familiar with Kennebunkport and the surrounding area and will provide suggestions for restaurants and activities. The inn is located in a 15-20 minute walking distance to the shops and restaurants and I do advise leaving the car parked at the inn and walking around the area unless venturing further out. All in all I really enjoyed my stay at the Harbor Inn and highly recommend it for value, comfort and location.

Thank you for the wonderful review, it really means a lot to us. Hope to see you again!
Mike was a great host and Inn keeper. The room was clean, well maintained, and comfortable. Mike made several great suggestions for food and attractions. The Inn was exactly as advertised. We will stay there again!

Thank you so much for staying with us and taking the time to review!
Beautiful old inn, great food, and wonderful hospitality. My partner and I had a lovely time. We would definitely come back again for another visit. Close to town, restaurants, and attractions, as well as local beaches.
Just average B&B Checkin 3-6pm. Friendly morning staff. Rustic, few amenities is the word. Not worth $300+. Tight parking…easy in, difficult to turn around to get out. Some Road noise from fairly busy street in front. No TV in room…only one in downstairs, community sitting room. No provision for charging devices in the room. Spotty WiFi. No refrig or microwave or alarm clock in the room…but in the common area. No heat turned on (boiler) even though 55° outside. Cold. Description said Queen bed…but is a 43” full size bed, cramped for 2 adults. Breakfast was OK. Probably would not stay again…many better choices in the area.
