The Inn is a superb historic building, full of character, beautifully designed and fitted out to a high standard. We spent four nights here after a trip in the mountains and it was perfect place to unwind and recover. The deluxe room was very spacious, they have a good selection of books to read, and lots of different places in the courtyard and lounge area where you can sit. It is very peaceful - while it is practically on the doorstep of Patan Durbar Square, when you step down the alley you leave behind the noise and traffic. It is a great base to explore the historic centre and fascinating little streets of Patan. The staff are really nice and helpful, there’s a good choice on the menu and the coffee is excellent.

This hotel was perfect. We loved it. Staff were so helpful and nice. Rooms were great. Food delicious. I would 100% recommend this hotel.

A very beautiful little gem located perfectly in patan. Personally we like patan more than thamel so we really enjoyed discovering this place. The rooms are super comfortable and specially clean which we find hard to find around patan and thamel. The staff were always very dedicated and super friendly. Breakfast was above standards. They also have a restaurant where the food is great! We enjoy the little courtyard where you could have breakfast lunch and dinner. When in Kathmandu we definitely come back to this hotel!

Une nuit dans la suite avec balcon H?tel de charme situé au fond d'une ruelle à une dizaine de minutes à pieds de Durbar square. Accueil très aimable et souriant Accès à la chambre dangereuse avec des pièces très basses de plafond et des escaliers extrêmement pentus. Vaste chambre avec beaucoup de cachet, literie correcte, mais éclairage et prises de courants insuffisants. Plats du diner de gout moyen et plut?t cher pour ce qui est servi. Petit déjeuner Ok, servi à table. Un grand merci au personnel qui nous a descendu nos bagages et apporté une aide efficace pour le taxi

I had a wonderful stay at the Inn Patan. The staff were so warm and really went above and beyond to provide excellent service including delicious meals - an enormous thank you to everyone. The hotel building is beautiful (really a home away from home) in a great location in Patan Durbar Square. I would definitely recommend staying here!

This is the most beautiful hotel. Tucked away from the busy streets of Patan. The service is impeccable and genuinely warm. The rooms are incredible and very clean. 5 ?? from me

This is quite an unusual accommodation. The property is a converted 19th century building, which means it is quite quirky and charming with low thresholds at places and weird angles...and door padlock which was attached to a chain. Yet it is clean and inviting. I stayed in room 10 which was on the top floor with its own little balcony looking down a narrow alleyway and the hustle and bustle of Patan. The buildings surround a courtyard that has places to sit and eat on the first floor as well as on the balcony. I was initially given a room with no view. I payed a little more to stay in a room with a great view, especially at sunset. Two things to note: there is no air conditioning and no elevator. I thought this was going to be a problem but it really wasn't. I was there in May and I had the window open, had no insects/mosquitos in the room. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. You can just walk outside the Inn and explore the narrow alleyways full of small restaurants and shops. Durbar Square is 5 minutes away...fun to explore at night. I ate at a local hole-in-the wall (there were actually holes in the wall) where the staff spoke no English. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved our stay at The Inn Patan! The property is a charming heritage hotel with eight rooms and suites. Buddha and the staff were so accommodating, pointing us in the right direction during our week with them. Located next to Durbar Square with it UNESCO sites, Museum and all the restaurants and bazaars. The kitchen turned out a lovely breakfast as well as drinks, lunch and dinner. The staff are so kind and soft-spoken it was truly a pampering experience. Patan is a perfect starting place to explore Kathmandu and the nearby sites in Nepal. It was always nice to come home to the quiet oasis of the Inn.

Amazing stay at The Inn Patan! The staff were so friendly and attentive to our needs. The rooms are beautiful with authentic architecture and decor. The location is conveniently close to all that Patan has to offer. And yet the rooms and courtyard are serenely quiet. Best inn experience ever!!

I had the pleasure of staying at the Inn Patan during my trip to Nepal, and it is one of the best stays I’ve had! The staff always had a smile on their faces and were so gracious, kind, and attentive! They would move mountains to make sure you are comfortable and happy with your stay. The rooms were absolutely gorgeous and had windows with a beautiful with of the courtyard. The courtyard gives the perfect amount of serenity within the business of Patan, while still having the perfect proximity to anywhere you would want to visit. If (more of a question of when) I come back to Nepal, the Inn would be my first choice for where to stay near Kathmandu/in Patan.
