The Joseph is a gem. The proprietor is very personable. Rooms are modern with up to date. The location of the Joseph is right on the river on the border between the central business district and the "touristic" area, making it absolutely walkable to all parts of town. Wonderful place to stay!

The Joseph, located on the 4th floor of an old building, is absolutely amazing for its design elements, interior and architectural. Room is delightful to be in. Excellent Miele coffee machine in common area.
Breakfast a bit plain. Eggs, OJ, a bit of fresh fruit and three thin bread slices. A croissant would have been nice,
The problem was that Ignaz had “lost” my reservation and was only able to accommodate me for one night. He did find another place for me , Rooma Apartments, that I was quite hungry with.
