We absolutely loved our visit to the green Devon Valley, Louisvale Winery and our stay at the Log Cabin. The sun shone and the wines were amazing ... especially their signature wooded Chardonnay, which was just as good as we remember it from 32 years ago. Our stay at the Log Cabin was perfect and we were welcomed by all the amazing staff we met. Highly recommended to others. My song title for this review is inspired by the flowers along the driveway to Louisvale, their traditional bottle lables and the freshness and green of the valley.

The Log Cabin exceeded our expectations in a beautiful visit to Stellenbosch wine states. Everything in this accommodation is beautiful, comfortable and friendly. Rooms with a superb view, fantastic breakfast and dinner, including a braai, communal room by the fire and very friendly staff. A place to remember.

The Log Cabin was an amazing place to stay - views are great, rooms are cosy, host is great and very friendly. Great spot to have a relaxed stay. Facilities were great. The bed and room were great and cabin decor and ambiance was very romantic - great for relaxed vacations. We ordered dinner at the cabin when we checked in and it was very tasty and fresh - they made the pok belly which was good, and the thai vegetarian dish was good - its is pre-ordered (from list of options) which helps with food preferences. Breakfast was included and was very tasty - they were also very accommodating for us as we needed to leave early for a flight and they were flexible to provide us an early breakfast.
