Siamo stati qui di giorno per prenderci qualcosa da bere e rilassarci in piscina. La cosa bella qui e’ che si puo’ entrare nei club ed hotels e anche prendendo solo una bibita puoi usufruire della piscina e servizi anche per tutto il giorno. La piscina a sfioro e’ bellissima e la struttura molto bella e raffinata. Posto di classe molto raccomandabile

Bellissimo resort di design con le camere sparse per un giardino in discesa che finisce sulla spiaggia sempre molto ventosa, affidato a un personale che non parla inglese ma comunica con whatsapp e Google translator, non ci ha capito quando abbiamo chiesto di prenderci i bagagli per la partenza, ce li siamo dovuti portare in salita da soli, non capiva quando chiedevamo informazioni, quando ordinavamo del cibo, insomma manca un responsabile che coordini. La colazione è buona ma c’è poco personale e il sevizio é scarso.

Tolles Design Hotel mit sehr sch?nem Infinity Pool. Gro?e und sch?n eingerichtete kleine Villen. Wer was unternehmen will oder ausw?rts essen m?chte, braucht einen Roller oder Golfcar. Lediglich der Strand ist nicht so sch?n. Der Hotelmanager war sehr freundlich und wir bekamen sogar unser Thai Lieblingsessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder, denn es ist ein toller Ort um zu entspannen.

The Mak is a fantastic small hotel! The rooms are very spacious, the beds are very comfortable, the bathrooms are large and well maintained. Rooms are all free standing bungalows with some ocean views from the balcony, best enjoyed laying on the giant beanbag chair. The meals are fantastic, the Thai cooking is as good as any 5* hotel, the western is ok. All the staff are very nice and super helpful. The only downside is the location when it’s low tide, you need to walk a couple of hundred meters across the sand flats. Best thing is to time your day around ocean swimming at other spots and be here for high tide. A visit to koh Kham is a must and only 50THB pp with Mr Yai taxi service, all can be arranged by the very lovely staff. We visited with a toddler and would not hesitate to rebook in the future.

I have a warm welcome with a welcome drink from dream. Room very clean, next to the beach, you can kayak right in front of the beach.wide swimming pool Gaze at the sunset while sipping on a cocktail.Don't forget to bring some snack for the lovely receptionist Mocha and Kai Khaw.

The resort has a stunning outlook onto the sea, great, but small pool, great rooms, some with roof terraces & is very relaxed. The restaurant's food is superbly presented, however unfortunately, the service is poor and let it down. Both times we dined there we had to go and find our own menus, noone brought them to us. The food took a long time to come and, though it was well-presented, some of it was cold. They forgot my wife's main dish and despite enquiring about it twice with a waitress who didn't seem to speak English and just giggled and walked off, it never arrived. This was really disappointing and marred our stay which would have otherwise been very relaxing. After we complain they did eventually apologise and discounted out bill by one dish but it wasn't great. The resort can arrange golf buggy hire for you to tour the island for 800 THB for 5 hours (that and 10 hours only options - no shorter time) which is worth doing. Also nice to walk out on the sand when the tide goes all the way out

We had an amazing 4 night stay at the Mak Trat and I can’t begin to say how wonderful, new, clean and well kept this place is. We arranged a hotel pick up from the Ao Nid port and within 5-10 of our arrival they came to pick us up, and took our luggage straight to the room.
The villas are extremely charming and the beds are very very very comfortable. The breakfast is delicious as well and the food at their own restaurant, and the amenities like the swimming pool area are very clean, beautiful and inviting. The staff is very kind and helpful informing you about day trips and also, you can rent a scooter at the hotel itself. We’re in love with this place I would 100% stay there again. Highly recommend!

We enjoyed spending a couple of hours at the hotel; had a great and very affordable lunch (it actually surprised us a bit how affordable; considering the serene surroundings????) Amazing view from the terrace with the stunning pool area. For a few hundreds Bht we could have used the pool but we didn't bring swim wear, unfortunately????

L’un des meilleurs h?tels qui existe, et j’en ai visité beaucoup dans la monde entier. Certes tout n’est pas parfait, mais il mérite amplement les 5 étoiles. Nous venons d’y séjourner cinq nuits et vous laisse un avis sincère et objectif. Les plus : Le CALME ABSOLU associé au charme de ce Resort. Le design de l’h?tel est fantastique, tout est beau et la construction comme la décoration sont formidables. La piscine à débordement possède une vue à couper le souffle, et les petites villas sont magnifiques et très confortables. Je conseille vivement d’en prendre une avec une terrasse sur le toit, c’est génial. Les prix à l’h?tel me semblent raisonnables, plus chers que à l’extérieur sans être prohibitifs (ex: 200 baths pour un pad Thai). La nourriture est en plus très bonne, y compris les patisseries. A noter que l’h?tel propose un service de taxi à 50 baths par personne, des scooters 400 baths la journée (250 en moyenne à l’extérieur) et des voiturettes de golf à 800 baths pour 5 heures. Tout est plus cher qu’à l’extérieur mais en comparaison de l’Europe c’est très peu cher. Les moins : La situation de l’h?tel est un peu excentrée, mais avec un scooter il suffit de quelques minutes pour aller sur les belles plages. En parlant de la plage, celle de l’h?tel n’est pas la meilleure de l’?le pour nager mais le coup d’?il est très beau et lorsque les conditions sont réunies la baignade reste agréable. Ensuite il y a le service. Le personnel est vraiment sympathique mais ces jeunes gens manquent d’expérience. Par ailleurs, beaucoup parlent mal l’anglais ce qui occasionne parfois des malentendus. Mais ils sont tellement gentils que au final ce n’est pas si grave, il faut savoir être tolérant, avec le temps les choses s’amélioreront. En bref, j’y retournerai volontiers !
