The whole experience was first class from when we arrived until we left. The room Nightingale was lovely with river views and every possible amenity you would need for a weekend break. The food was in our opinion as good as it gets and Sunday lunch was amazing. Special thanks to Andy and Estelle who were great hosts and exceptionally attentive, we would highly recommend this establishment and without doubt will return.

We had my brothers birthday meal here. There were 10 of us ranging from 4yr to 91yrs and everyone LOVED it. The welcome and service was wonderful. Food was delicious, good ranage of wines and drinks, veiws and atmosphere was perfect, a real treat for us all!

Visiting the area and called late on a Friday to see if any tables free and to our delight they managed to find us a table. When we arrived, were shown into the Old Alley restaurant which was busy and a lovely buzzy feel to it. Very friendly , welcoming staff. Had a great choice on the menu and enjoyed Fish and chips. As Creme Brulee was on the menu (my absolute favourite) I chose it. Waiter came back to say there was an issue with the grill so I asked for it without the brulee. Still the best one I have ever had. So great to visit a place where the staff are so upbeat and friendly, not to mention excellent at their jobs.

Myself and a friend visited the Maltsters Saturday evening and wow it did not disappoint! Greeted by Erin, we had a wonderful Crement one of the best I have had and the food was simply divine! Standout dish for me was the pork belly, I honestly have never tasted anything so delicious. I could not fault my starter, main, desert. It was one of the nicest meals I have had in a very long time, truly delicious!!!!!

Gorgeous setting, lovely team running this beautiful pub. The food is really good too and worth the trip down the winding roads. We had taramasalata, Nduja croquettes, Paxton peppers and the best chips I’ve had on a while.

A return to Tuckenhay Mill after 3 years ago Xmas 2022 So it was a must that we walked to the local Malsters arms pub where we ate for Boxing Day & had an exceptional meal with great friendly staff! Sadly after arriving about 7:20pm we were unable to order food Whilst we appreciate it was very buzy this time of the year we didn’t understand why we couldn’t order food as we were happy to sit outside on such a nice evening @ such an early evening So thankfully next pub along which was equally as buzy but we’re more accommodating & still serving food when we arrived! Spoke to people staying at our digs who have been staying @ THM for over 40 years & visiting this pub frequently for food also expressed they felt very dissatisfied with the food & service under the new management!

Tantalising menu, delicious food, friendly professional service. The location has always been great but unfortunately the restaurant had declined. So wonderful that it’s got its mojo back!

Das Inn ist auf jedenfall zu empfehlen. Herzlicher Empfang sehr nettes Team. Super gutes Frühstück. Lage ein Traum am Fluss

An excellent late lunch in a beautiful riverside setting. The menu was intriguing and lived up to expectations in terms of quality, taste and overall deliciousness. Service was relaxed and friendly. We shared the snack appetisers, followed by the lamb and hake - both generous portions. Just opted for ice creams for dessert ( as quite full) but they were lovely too.

Brilliant night! Fantastic food and very welcoming and warm service. Monkfish was bloody lovely and the mussels are some of the nicest we have ever had. Been coming here for years since the kids were little. One of the best meals ever. Well done new owners ????
