Guest：What a great hotel! We had a corner room on one of the upper floors. Two queen beds. First night- two parents and two teenagers and second night just two parents. We were very comfortable. It was very quiet. I notice everything when it comes to cleanliness and our room was very clean. The frig was helpful. When we walked in the AC was already on and the room was cool. I am the only one in my group that likes a cold room in a hotel...so if you like a good AC...you would love theirs! My kids enjoyed the breakfast one morning. We used the computer ( iMac) in the lobby one evening to print something and it was free to print. It was a 15-20 min drive to Queen's University but we saved money this visit by not staying right by the campus. I would stay here again...it was worth saving the money.
Guest：we were a team of 18 people staying in this hotel for 6 weeks. The hotel was very welcoming and staff were very helpful and friendly including the cook( Rodney), servers (Jhuan) and suttle drivers(Rasul and Shergl) .
Guest：Laura and Kim are the best bartenders in charlotte. The food is quite good. Adrianna is a delightful cook. Also the hotel is pretty nice. I would recommend it to anyone passing through. Clean accommodations and wonderful staff.
Guest：I love IKEA and this hotel is less than a mile to the IkEA store in Charlotte. our first time staying at this location and definitely will not be our last. Upon check in we were placed on the club floor,the club lounge was not open on the friday/saturday that we were there so other than having no neighbors walking the floor above us,there was really no advantage to being on the top floor. This hotel does not give platinum members free breakfast in the restaurant if the club lounge is not open. The desk staff offer you a half off breakfast voucher for use in the restaurant,not a deal breaker but it is the first IHG brand hotel where we have not been offered free breakfast. Our king room was clean / furnished nicely and he wifi speeds were ok,in the 3mbps range.
Guest：Traveling for work isn't always the most fun experience you can have. With this in mind, when a hotel can provide you with a friendly staff, clean accommodations and an excellent downstairs bar, it more then makes up for it. This is exactly what his Holiday Inn provided. Most notable were Laura and Kim at the Red Sky Lounge, they were very sweet and fantastic bartenders. These ladies helped to make a good experience into a very positive and fun stay.
