Good venue within walking distance to beach. 15 minutes down and 25 minutes up. Clean, modern interior and free parking. Room 5 was small and had poor ventilation. Bed was good. Communal kitchen worked well and is well equipped.

We were disappointed with our room size, although it contained a double bed it was hardly a double room. Literally just enough space to squeeze round the bed, no where to put cases etc. not for the claustrophobic.. Well located for seafront and town. ( The Tate Gallery nearby was awesome ) Shared kitchen gave the place a pleasant hostel feel.. Outdoor seated area welcome addition ( some cushions would’ve been nice) Decent amount of parking Reasonable value for St Ives

We really liked it....our room was clean, comfortable and cosy. The bed was very comfortable. We liked the idea of a kitchen area and although we didn't use it for cooking we liked being able to keep real.lilk in the fridge. We would definitely stay again and would make use of the kitchen area more if we did. It's a great place to stay.

We stayed at the nook for 2 nights booking room 2 which had a sea view . The room was clean and comfortable it was nice to open the windows and hear the seagulls and enjoy all the fresh sea air ! We could see the sea but it’s quite far off in the distance .The bathroom was kind of small but was clean and had a big shower and was fine for us . We liked the coded entry , so convenient to not have to carry keys around with us and no check in or out , we were kept updated via the booking app. We didn’t use the kitchen or gardens but could see they were a good size and clean. The free parking car park was much appreciated and one of the main reasons we booked this place , it did become full quite quickly and is quite tight spaces so be ready for that if you’ve got a big car ! It took about 10 mins to walk to the seafront and shops which was great however be aware it is a steep hiill on the way back up ! We really enjoyed our stay here and would stay again

Lovely large room on the group floor, great bathroom and view of the communal garden. Only one problem, we booked through *********** and didn’t get an email Re code for the door . After a phone call we eventually got the code . Probably a 10 minute walk down a steep hill to the beach but having parking was a bonus .

stayed 2 nights at the nook, room on the ground floor (the only one i think) very nice modern spaceous room, kettle, tea and coffee in the room, king bed, big shower, all very nice the only thing we couldnt get normal tv programmes! there is a shared kitchen but we didnt use, limited parking and if the place was fully booked i dont think everyone would have a space, also very small and tight to park. we walked into town but it is hilly, overall we have a lovely time in st ives and prob would stay at the nook again.

Very basic place. Both bedroom and bathroom were very small in the double bedroom. Small shower, no bath mat, no hand soap, had to buy more loo roll from the shop round the corner. Said there would be ironing facilities but it’s actually a communal iron downstairs, not your own one in your room. Mini ‘fridge’ was so small you could hardly fit anything in it and it also didn’t get cold. The ‘digital keypad’ on our bedroom door was so hit and miss, and ‘failed’ so many times… very frustrating, it should be easy to just open our bedroom door…! No one around greet/meet us or to ask for help or to answer any queries as they’ve now decide to operate solely online/digitally. If I’m honest I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone or come back ourselves. Definitely not luxury so if that’s what you’re looking for then I would look elsewhere! Overall, just extremely overpriced for how basic and shoddy it was (£400 for 3 nights ??!) and our customer experience was not great either since it got ‘taken over by new management’. We originally had booked a king sized room and then when it got taken over by the new people, our room miraculously changed to a ‘double room’ but the price stayed the same. They also said we’d have a ‘sea view’ - this was funny because it was actually a view of the car park and houses, but if you look past the house you can see the sea ever so slightly in the distance… but you’d probably be able to see it a bit more if the windows weren’t so dirty and grimy. Reviews seemed to be better with the management before current management, and the photos on the website make it seem nicer than what it actually is.
