This was my second stay within a year at this hotel and that itself speaks volumes. The hosts were so welcoming and friendly, it's almost like a second home. The hotel is well maintained, clean and tidy. The bed was very comfortable and my room was very spacious. The breakfast was plentiful and of excellent quality, cooked to order. There is a well stocked bar and the friendly atmosphere was such that I actually sang karaoke for the first time in decades! Suffice to say I plan to return in the Spring.

Exceptional Hosts .Very warming atmosphere .Nothing was too much trouble for Costa and Brian, and they have no problem in going out of their way to make sure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast is fantastic with plenty to choose from, Fresh fruit salad, lovely English breakfast. Beds were extra comfy, all bedding to an exceptionally high standard . Never felt pillows like them before. Every where was spotlessly clean. All quality bathroom fitments, Lovely, quiet part of North Bay with easy access to the lovely beaches and Peasholm park and only a short bus ride along the esplanade to the South shore. It is also a pleasant walk. Close to the open air theatre if going to see a concert. This is my second time at The Norlands and certainly will not be my last.in fact I would not stay anywhere else in Scarborough. Thank you Costa and Brian for yet another remarkable stay.. Hope to see you both next year.

This is my second stay at The Norlands this year they made both trips a delight, my second trip was a solo trip and they made me feel like part of there family. The whole hotel is five star the rooms are spacious and exceptionally clean the food was delicious.The location is ideally situated for local attractions. I won’t be staying anywhere else when I visit Scarborough again in the future

Back home unfortunately from this 5 star ? I phoned Brian on the Tuesday morning and 4 hours later I was checking in It was absolutely beautiful me and my Charles were treat like royalty guests it’s a great hotel to stay with fantastic hosts Brian and Costa they are sensational so friendly and attentive ! The rooms are immaculate not a fault the cleanliness of the hotel is very high , my bed was so comfortable it was like been at home . The breakfast was amazing each and every morning freshly cooked by Costa and served by Brian nothing was too much trouble outstanding quantity and quality for breakfast ! Hotel does evening meals too which is great perk again nothing but the best served up by Costa parking is great directly across the road like 90 seconds away , the knowledge of the area if you need to know these guys have it all , I’ve even booked for next year already! We also have become friends Brian still messages to keep in touch which is lovely it’s nice to hear from him

I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the first break away on my own, the norlands was brilliant, brian was so attentive and couldn't do enough and costa's breakfast set me up for the day, i would recommend to anyone, will be booking again thankyou so much

Absolutely delighted with my stay, from start to finish. The room was excellent, clean, inviting, very comfortable & had everything I needed and more. Brian, Costa and Tracy were an absolute delight! It was a home away from home from the moment I arrived. Breakfast was sublime, so many options to choose from and nothing was too much trouble. Their welcoming atmosphere was so much more than I had expected, I can't recommend them highly enough. Such a wonderful holiday, thank you so much! I haven't laughed so much in years! I will definitely be staying again.

My stay was excellent all round. The Hotel is in a great location and the rooms are very clean and comfortable with good facilities and sea views . The Hosts were very friendly and attentive and the Full English breakfast was lovely! There is also a bar area which has karaoke on special night.

First class hotel booked to go again brilliant hosts they made our experience most enjoyable Karaoke sing along in the bar area with the hosts fantastic can't fault them in any way breakfast great value for the money
