Very clean and updated rooms. Outside bar area and food awesome. Very friendly staff. You would drive past OV if just looked at it from the A1A. Take the time and go around back.

We had some complications with plumbing and smell in our room that made our check in late, but complications were out of staffs control and they were very nice and attentive about it. Overall great experience everyone was super sweet!

Road side motel that’s great for pub grub and staying a night. Unrefined (they keep reservations in a notebook) and not a place that will have a “specialty drink” menu. My black and bleu burger was awesome! Great water view out of the back little dock.

A great motel to stop in before heading to Key West. Room was clean and had everything you needed. Pool was refreshing and the little sand path from your room to the pool or dock was nice. Food was amazing and the indoor and outdoor bars were great. Nice bartenders.

Found this hotel when I needed to stay in Islamorada while my Boy Scout Troop was finishing their adventure at SeaBase. If you stay on Thursday night, the pub has a steak dinner special. Have dinner at the pub and get the steak special. The steak was cooked just right and tender throughout. You never would think you could get such a great meal at this pub. But you do. The place was perfect for us. You have a patio out the back of your room, leading to a swimming pool. Room is spacious with all the amenities you need. A true gem of a hotel in the area. Locally owned so support the local businesses.

Driven by, never stopped until today. Pulled in to escape rain coming in. Drinks were light-hand poured. Hubby ordered fried fish & chips basket.. mahi was dry, nothing special. I ordered dolphin fingers app.. again, dry, stringy, more breading than fish.. food was meh.. nothing impressive considering the business' history. Doubt we make a special effort to go back.

The Ocean View was a pleasant surprise. It is a small motel attached to a sports bar, but the stay is much more. The rooms are large. Ours had a table and 2 chairs, a king bed, a little fridge, a microwave and a small but functional bathroom. Things get even better out the back. We had a patio with two chairs and a table, and our own outdoor shower. The patio lead out to a garden with lots of bougainvillea, a small but nice pool and then on to an outdoor bar. The bar was friendly, reasonably priced and busy. By the end of our stay, we had used all the facilities, enjoyed our room and the view and decided that in spite of the price, it was a good deal.

It is unassuming on the outside but on the double queen #7 was nice, spacious, and very clean. It had a small private patio with a sandy path thru some gardens to the pool and bar/grill. We had an enjoyable meal at the grilll. Nothing fancy but nicely prepared and the view and breeze were great. The drinks were very reasonable and very strong! Staff was tremendous. It was high season. We were not quite prepared for the higher overall prices in the Keys including this motel so be ready for that. That said, the Ocean View was great value compared to others we stayed at in the price range and much more charming.
