Very nice inn with friendly staff, clean rooms, and great food. There's also a pub in the hotel which was nice, it had a pool table and tv's etc. What more could you ask for? You won't go wrong choosing this establishment, we enjoyed out stay and highly recommend.

This is a great place to stay. The owners and staff were fantastic, the food was great and lovely rooms and beds. The owners are very hard working doing long shifts but always there with a smile and a chat. Used to always stay in Perth but i think this is where i will be staying from now on.

We stayed the night on 10th May and enjoyed our stay. Kelly & Ian were nice & gave us a friendly welcome. The room was big & the bed was comfy but there was no table & I had to phone down for a tray to do my crossword & to lean on for various things. The en suite bathroom was a good size but there was only one little shelf to hold the glasses and we had to keep our toiletries in our toilet bags as there was nothing to put things on. We enjoyed our meal that night although we couldn't finish it as there was too much on our plates....not a bad complaint! What we didn't like about this hotel was that there was no-one on the premises at night to aid in any emergency and no phone in the room as I had to use my mobile to phone for the tray. We left next morning after a filling breakfast & said our goodbyes before leaving to stay with our son in Aberdeenshire. Home now & feeling tired after a lovely few days.

We were only staying for one night. The room was large and comfortable. Liked the little fridge which had some proper milk in for a decent cuppa. Bathroom nice and clean. Its an older property so wonky floors and sash windows.

Very nice meal with lots of choices. Good to be able to choose a smaller portion. We had scamp and chips, Braddock and chips, lasagne with garlic bread and macaroni cheese. For pudding, 2 cheesecakes, sticky toffee pudding and an affogatto

Very comfortable room, food was lovely both for evening dinner and breakfast. Car park was limited and full but we managed to find parking in nearby street.

Phoned ahead to check availability for food and was met with a friendly cheery female. On arrival in the lounge bar the best seat in the bar was filled with the only other person there sitting with his feet on the table. Turns out he was one of the staff, possibly the owner /manager. Would have been nice if he’d allowed us a comfy seat. We may have stayed longer. He was then joined by another member of staff having her lunch. She was mum to the girl serving behind the bar who was possibly having a bad day or maybe the lack of chat or smile is her default. Rarely, actually never, do we go to a pub and only stay for one drink. That said the lounge bar was cosy and what we could see of the restaurant looked fine. Didn’t see the rooms. Doubtful the staff pictures on the website are the actual staff!! Altogether a disappointing meal and overall experience. It was our intention to stay and watch the rugby but home (for the weekend ) was more appealing.
