We had a lovely stay at the Old Ferry Inn, from the moment we arrived the staff were very polite and welcoming, which made the experience feel very warm and enjoyable. We stayed in room No.7 over looking the ferry that takes you too Fowey, the room at a beautiful view which a stunning interior. We were also able to bring our fluffy companion which made the experience even more enjoyable. Would highly recommend!!

Had an evening meal here. Best Fish and Chips we have had in a long time. Nice crispy batter , plenty of chips and a good helping of peas. A warm welcome too.

This pub has a great view from the deck and is convenient to the Bodinnick Ferry. It's a good stop after the Hall Walk for a beer. The food was okay, ordering at the bar. Staff seemed not very interested in customers. Perhaps the dining room was being redecorated because there was a stack of framed pictures there. Also, some tables were unbussed. The place just had a dead vibe.

The bed is the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in and the burger is the best I’ve ever eaten. Even with Archie staring at every mouthful.

Very warm welcome, good choice of food to appeal all tastes , good bar choice . Very nice breakfast selection, and charming ladies assisting in the breakfast room . Parking we found reasonable, although I guess it could be a problem when Hotel is full mid season . Our only disappointment was Wi-Fi was very poor in the room . Excellent location to the little ferry across the water . All in all we would recommend

We have just had the most wonderful two night stay at The Old Ferry Inn. Great food (mussels were divine, as were the fish n chips and breakfast also delicious) fantastic atmosphere, very attentive staff and lovely rooms in the most beautiful location. We were a group of friends walking a section of the SW Coastal path and it was just perfect. Thank you so much!

Such a well situated hotel with views (and easy access) over to Fowey. Great value for money, cheerful and helpful staff, lovely food and a cosy atmospheric bar. We had a suite overlooking the water which was beautiful! Comfortable beds, fluffy pillows and immaculate bathroom. Highly recommend!

What can I say other than what a wonderful weekend we have just spent at The Old Ferry Inn Bodinnick. We had a suite which was huge and had a great view of the estuary. Paul and his staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Their Peppercorn gin was fabulous- I bought a bottle to take home. The food was delicious. We felt so at home there and would highly recommend booking a stay. It is also easily accessible to the South West Coast Path and Fowey too!

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Ferry Inn. There was a large group of us staying for the weekend and the landlord and his staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The food was delicious and all the rooms were clean and spacious, some with beautiful views. The pub itself has so much charm and it is an easy boat ride across to stunning Fowey. We will definitely visit again!

A great pub on the banks of the river Fowey…. Accommodation was top-notch, food great, especially the breakfast the staff were very attentive and super friendly. The view from the balcony was just beautiful. Very convenient for walks along the coastal path, or visits to Fowey, where there is a great bus service to many other great places
