It is a nice and unique accommodation. The owners are really helpful and friendly.

The room had two single beds (old) and a WC/shower room (this unheated and remained wet during the 4-day stay. Continental breakfast which included a variety of items (sliced cheese packet mould green). Parking available and good WIFI reception. Road noise not an issue. Depending on weather, would be more appreciative if not a winter stay. Hosts very nice and welcoming.

I felt at home in the b&b and liked that you could get your own breakfast and there were facilities such as a microwave should you need it. It was very convenient that it was so close to Glenside university as well. The host was very welcoming and helpful.

Run by a lovely couple who gave plenty of information on arrival. The place was clean and well looked after with a selection of food and drinks for breakfast. The beds were very comfortable especially the duvets.

Wonderful location in a very beautiful surroundings. Good value for money and on site EV charger is a bonus.

The stay was adequate but nothing more and certainly glad I didn’t pay for it out of my own pocket, stayed for work and booked it via the corporate travel site. May, yet very cold room, very small carpark, next to a very busy main road. Thin walls, noisy, and the breakfast is help yourself toast and cereals. Clean enough, but wouldn’t recommend for anything more than one night, and not if you’re actually paying for it yourself.

We have had a great stay this weekend at The Old Star. The room was perfect for our needs, the breakfast was lovely and the host was very welcoming. We would certainly recommend staying here and we will be returning the next time we visit Bristol

A lovely greeting, and we were shown to our room (double studio). The kitchen is not in a room but for all rooms to share. It was spacious but a little clunky. The bathroom was very cold on arrival but ok the next day. The shower had very limited head room. A comfortable bed but the room was very close to the busy road so noisy and easily disturbed me, a light sleeper. The continental breakfast is self service with lots of choice, tea, coffee, juice, cereals, toast, pain au choc, breakfast biscuits etc. Easy parking and a good location. I would return but not to that room.
