We had a truly wonderful stay at The Packhorse Inn. We stayed in Warren Room which was really lovely a very comfortable bed and a fantastic bathroom. Areas of the room and the hallway leading to it are a little tired looking stained carpet and areas of paintwork could be refreshed. The food was absolutely amazing we had roast beef and sticky date pudding for our meal. Lovely service the waiter was very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was also very good the staff looking after us were so helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return!

Lucky enough to spend a Christmas overnight stay at the Packhorse- myself and my 2 dogs. Great welcome and atmosphere on arrival. We enjoyed the comfort of a great dog friendly lodge with cozy dog beds in situ on our arrival. The full English breakfast and evening meal ( my nephew’s 40th Birthday) were both delicious and nothing was too much to ask of the friendly and helpful staff. Looking forward to a return visit very soon

Stayed with you Friday and Saturday. Lovely room. Very comfortable bed. The room was spotless. Staff very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The only negatives were the shower was blocked and the buffet breakfast choices were not as good on the Sunday.

In the years we have been visiting Moulton this is the first time that we have stayed here. The room we were given was in one of the new rooms around the back of the Inn. It was lovely. Comfortable bed, easy access shower and well stocked tea/coffee area. My only complaint is that why do hotels these days not have a shaver/toothbrush point to charge/use these everyday items. Fortunately having discovered this "missing" item in hotel rooms, I came prepared with an adapter. And the breakfasts we enjoyed on both mornings was very good. Plenty of choice and well cooked.

From the start to the end our stay was amazing. The staff met all of our needs and Ben was great looking after us at dinner. Dinner was delicious and the breakfast catered for myself and 10 year old son with the waitress being very accommodating and professional.

Room was spacious and nicely decorated, had a great bath and toiletries. The pub was lovely and we found the evening meal delicious. The breakfast was very good also. Location was great ?? not too far out of Newmarket itself . Easy parking, would definitely recommend.

Very nice Inn. Room was spacious, clean and well maintained. There was no shower in my room which I prefer, and instead a bath was in the actjual bedroom with a shower attachment. The food was very good. I had the cured trout and fish and chips, which although expensive, was of top quality. The cooked breakfast was one of the best I've had, but as i don't eat much bread or pastries, they could have done with some yoghurt and a better selection of fresh fruit. Overall thoiugh, I would recommend this place.

All round amazing stay. I had a beautiful dinner of perfectly cooked cod and a spanish style cannellini bean stew. Superb selection of wines and drinks. I also had a lovely room with huge bathroom and sunrise through the bathroom window. Excellent nights sleep with no noise. Cooked breakfast was beautiful with good fresh choices. Highly recommend for dining and overnight stay for business or pleasure. Didn't get to do the walk but will the next time!

We stayed here as a night away to get engaged. It was absolutely perfect, room was spotlessly clean, very comfortable and welcoming. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Breakfast was superb

My room was absolutely lovely - fan on and window open ready for me on what was a very hot day. Very clean, comfortable and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. Dinner excellent as was the breakfast. EV charger most welcome too.
