Guest：Having not been to the pub for a while, my partner and I decided to head over following a recent take over. My gosh what a positive difference they have made. Felt welcome the minute we arrived, sat near the fire, had a drink and something to eat! Service staff are so lovely, a complement to the business without a doubt. We will return.
Guest：I am not sure what has happened over the last few weeks, popped in today there were 2 people serving behind the bar it was not busy. Eventually served drinks and went into the next door part to sit down . There was a table full of dirty glasses and lunch items . It was 4.30pm , we left an hour later and still they had not been collected or tables wiped down . Considering that it wasn't busy this was shocking. The Other L&B establishments are much better and they need to get on top of this. Hopefully this was just a blip
Guest：I had a lovely roast beef and my wife had the mussels, the food was fantastic. The waitress was very attentive, I didn’t catch her name ! ( blonde hair , I think she was new ) We prebooked the table for the 2 of us plus our puppy , we were all made to feel welcome and would definitely return .
Guest：Had a wonderful roast dinner here recently and was brilliant! Price was very reasonable and seems to still have a lovely atmosphere after they renovated!!!
Guest：Cute little pub right on the seafront, plenty public parking close by. Our overnight stay turned out to be in the cottage next door where the previous owners now live. We had a lovely room with fabulous sea views. Everything you needed was provided with care and consideration. The breakfast was very good with plenty of choice…. Definitely the best poached eggs we have had in a long time! The couple were engaging and helpful. It was by far the best night of our five day break.
