If you like staying at Bed & Breakfast Inns then don’t miss the Trellis House. Fabulous staff and owners! A toast of the bubbly as a welcome was appreciated after our 5 hour drive. We stayed in Camden Cottage which was cozy, although the cool and drizzly weather prohibited us from sitting outside among the lovely gardens. Be sure to be on time for the 4:30 cocktail hour. You buy your beverage and Laurence supplies the delightful treats. Every day has different items. As with the daily gourmet breakfasts. The cozy dining area is smartly decorated and the table placements make it easy to chatter with other guests. Glen and Laurence bring the entrees and Mimosa’s or Bloody Mary’s if you wish. A true classy establishment close to all of the Ogunquit sites. You won’t be disappointed!

Great location, great house, and the owners and staff couldn't have been any nicer. Breakfasts and happy hours were great. You can easily walk to town or to Perkins Cove. Many restaurants within an easy walk ---no need to use your car. We hope to return soon.

We enjoyed our one night stay, I wish we had stayed for longer! Great food, friendly and well organized staff. The decor is lovely and the common areas are kept clean. Just a brief walk away from Marginal Way and Perkins Cove, as well as downtown.

My husband and I had a wonderful weekend at Trellis House. We were offered a glass of bubbly on arrival, delectable snacks and soothing cocktails late afternoon, fun conversation with other guests, post-dinner sweets and delicious breakfasts. Laurence, Glen and staff are the ultimate hosts. They even made an anniversary cake to celebrate the occasion. Of course, this is in addition to the pampered sleep accommodations! We look forward to returning in the future!

Our stay was fabulous! It was my daughter’s birthday and they made it an amazing experience! We will be back, the breakfasts are fabulous! We love the location and the excellent hospitality! The rooms are very comfortable and happy hour was even better!

My wife and I had an awesome stay at Trellis House! Our cozy Arbor Room was perfect for the two of us….super comfortable after a day of walking all over town. The breakfasts were incredible both mornings, unique and delicious! Lawrence and Glen (as well as their beautiful labradoodle Bentley) couldn’t have been more friendly. We would return to The Trellis House in a heartbeat!

We visit Maine every spring and fall and have been staying at the Trellis House for several years. Every visit just keeps getting better. From the bubbly upon arrival to the cookies and evening treats, to the most comfortable pillows and bedding ever. And the welcoming staff makes it feel like coming home. If you are looking for a special place to lay your head, this is it!

Lovely property with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on! Our one full day in Ogunquit was sunny and beautiful, and I actually considered (for a moment!) just staying in and reading on the bed rather than going out and enjoying the town. Glen and Laurence are gracious and entertaining hosts and provide a high level of hospitality, along with Diata (sp?) and other staff members. Our first morning, we reported to Glen that the heat in our room didn't seem to be working properly. He attended to it within minutes, and the room's temperature was perfect for the rest of our stay. Trellis House goes above and beyond to make a stay special. Happy Hour was well attended by many guests and took on the air of a friendly little cocktail party -- with good cocktails and nicer hors d'oeuvres than you might expect. One afternoon there were tasty spanakopita along with a generous cheese platter. The next day, there were stuffed mushrooms and other savory goodies. Trellis House also offers sweet treats in the evening, available in the common area as you return from dinner out. When I reserved, I noted that we were celebrating an anniversary, and a tasty little homemade cake greeted us in our room. A very nice touch! Breakfast was delicious, with self-serve coffee, tea, juice, and water, and gracious table service for the meal. There are several good restaurants within a short walking distance from Trellis House. Perkins Cove is about a 15 minute walk away as well. I chose very well when I reserved Trellis House!

The bed is super comfortable and the amenities were wonderful and so thoughtful. I appreciated the attention to details. It was one of our first true BnB experience and I am worried nothing will quite live up to it. The breakfasts were amazing and I dream about those blueberry pancakes. We found everything to be super walkable and never moved the car. The staff was genuine and amazing. We will be back!

My sister and I had a wonderful weekend at the Trellis house!! The inn is adorable, comfortable, conveniently located and welcoming. Glen,Laurence and their staff are amazing hosts…from welcoming us with champagne, to homemade treats, fabulous breakfasts, great decor and warm hospitality. We’ve been visiting Ogunquit for years but may have a new favorite place to stay!!
