The staff were lovely, very welcoming and knowledgeable. The breakfast was great, scrumptious home cooked hot breakfast, or toast, cereal, pastries, fruit, yoghurt if preferred.

Chose to stay here due to a hospital appointment and wanted to get away a couple of nights. Location of the vestry is above the room 12 bar on the main *****. Some nights it is open till 3am but ear plugs are provided. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by smiles and what felt like friends. We originally stayed in room 8, however we had an issue with the window, when we told the staff they changed our room and gave us a radiator. It is a student area, however Monday night was music bingo, completely free and you win drinks or merchandise. It was a real good laugh and made a change to normal bingo. I would advise you swat up. I guessed half of them. Bed was so comfortable i didn't want to move. Loved having a bath too. The little touches of making rooms up daily and chocolates on the bed made it so enjoyable. Bar staff absolutely lovely. Even put on an impromptu karaoke session after bingo as some wanted it. Complimentary breakfast, lovely choices on hot menu, and cold options too for those who don't fancy cooked. I had the eggs benedict on morning 1 which was exemplary, my partner thoroughly enjoyed his full English. You get 10% off at the bar too and across the road at Jams cafe. Would definitely stay here again. From the staff to the room to the food, absolutely top notch.

I had a very pleasant stay. My room was large and spacious, clean and had everything I needed. Staff were brilliant and super friendly. The location was perfect, right in the centre of Chichester and only 5mins walk from the train station. I had no problems with noise as there was no live music on that night. It was great value for money and I would definitely stay here again.

I recently stayed at The Vestry in Chichester, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The building has so much character, and the rooms are comfortable, well-kept, and surprisingly quiet given the lively atmosphere downstairs. Breakfast was generous and delicious, and the location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city, perfect for exploring Chichester on foot. A special thank you to Sam, the manager, who truly made the stay memorable. Sam was warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating, going out of the way to make sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to come across such genuine hospitality, and it made all the difference. Highly recommend staying here—great energy, great service, and a great team. I’ll definitely be returning!

Staff were professional, friendly and helpful. Parking very easy. Despite the warnings that the bar would be noisy (especially over Halloween) Noise levels were fine, was not disturbed.

Efficient, helpful and pleasant staff: we pitched up in Chichester and were recommended this hotel by another one (that was full)! Very comfortable room and good breakfast - ie: fresh fruit and variety of yoghurts (not enough plain yoghurts though!. Cooked breakfast if you wished. However, we happened to stay on an 'open mic' night and our room was right above the music area in the bar - which went on - very loudly - into the early hours of the morning! It explained why we found small rubber ear plugs in our room on arrival!. However we survived (!) and as long as you are not a light sleeper, it would be almost bearable!

As mentioned in the hotel details, there is live music until about 3.30. We didn’t sleep much and didn’t stay for breakfast. The room itself was nice, as was the bedding. I didn’t like downstairs.

Bei der Buchung über *********** ist leider nicht ersichtlich, dass der Pub, der zum Hotel geh?rt ab donnerstags bis samstags zur Discothek wird. Wir haben bis 3 Uhr kein Auge zugetan und daher unsere zweite Nacht - leider nicht kostenlos- storniert.
