Our one day away started with a very relaxing spa experience and followed by an excellent fine dining meal in the Trevilder restaurant all backed up by very attentive service.

We really enjoyed our stay. The service was exceptional and very friendly. Food was very good and facilities excellent. The poor weather meant we did not leave the hotel but were able to enjoy the comfort of the lounge and the spa facilities.

We had a very pleasant stay at the w/e. The staff were very welcoming and attentive. The hotel has a family atmosphere throughout, meaning many staff are long serving . We enjoyed the indoor pool before the function we were attending, when we had an excellent meal for large numbers. Our room was of a good size, had a balcony and view down to South Milton Sands. Bed perfectly comfortable. We loved it.

A lovely hotel that is treasured by everyone. Service is friendly but impeccable. The food is excellent. Set in beautiful grounds with direct access to beaches and the beautiful south West coast path.

Amazing stay in the new apartments, made a trip away with the family really enjoyable! Lots of space as well as all the hotel facilities 5* from us and baby sitting from Salcombe Elite really helped make it a holiday!

We attended a very big party that would have taken an awful lot of thinking about and planning because having thought, ??‘incoming bun fight’ , in fact the event flowed with an unflinching professionalism from the moment we arrived. Staff were incredibly smiley and polite. Drinks served with speed and a sense of humour that overcame the demanding clientele. The food was delicious, the two stars of the show being the most sublime cured salmon followed by a slow cooked beef number.. the sauce was rich and deeply beefy with crunchy roasted potatoes. Massive nod to the kitchen for providing that quality for nearly 300 guests. Thurlestone Hotel, thank you ! A first visit that has left Victoria and I longing for, perhaps, with a quieter visit! Fabulous experience super rooms didn’t need to use my own pillow for once which I always take to hotels as normally they are far too hard to sleep on. Fab views delicious food relaxed atmosphere didn’t want to leave!

Overnight stay and large private party: lovely flowers, good food and a comfortable bed for the night followed by delicious breakfast. The coastal location provides superb views from the restaurant and bar and opportunities for beach walks.

My husband and I stayed for one night, after attending a friend's birthday party at the hotel. The staff were welcoming and professional, the room was of a high standard, and breakfast the next morning was a delight, with excellent, friendly service.

Wonderful location in beautiful gardens. Our room was spacious with a far reaching sea view of the coastline and gardens. there is a cosy atmosphere in the hotel with very friendly staff . The spa and thermal area was first class beautifully clean and well maintained . We enjoyed dining in the Trevilder restaurant and the Village pub . Both excellent . Great breakfast choice with buffet and choices of main dishes. Looking forward to a return visit .
