Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, 3 lovely ladies running it, and doing everything them selves, from breakfast cleaning the rooms, Reception, and even cleaning the pool, which I feel is far too much for 3 people one of which was the managers daughter. Nice quiet location until people were going to work, our room faced onto the street, and all you could hear were scooters, the rooms were cleaned everyday, unless you didn't need them to be, the hotel was very modern, but had that old rustic feel, stone floors and walls to keep it cool, and tastefully painted, with lovely lighting in the bedroom. The breakfast was ok but same everyday so not much choice, the thing we were looking forward to most was lying around the pool as we are not beach people, and we were so disappointed, the view on the Jet2 photo shows the pool and the beautiful blue sky making the pool a sun trap, all we had was a massive brick wall that blocked out all of the sun, so the pool hardly got any sun at all, for that reason we would never return, as when I walked round to see what the brick wall was, it is new apartments being built, and the balconies overlook the swimming pool, so a lovely little hotel ruined.

Hi, this is my 4th visit to this lovely little home from home ( for me) hotel..i am a solo traveller and have got to know the staff here VANA Quite well..well here goes...I was thrilled when I arrived to find myself in a great room..but oh dear what have they done to the pool area..there is a massive building now attached to the pool wall blocking most of the sun out..not good at all..I used to love to spend the day around the pool reading or just meeting other guests..not much room now and no sun ( well about 2hrs in late afternoon) so the pool is freezing..i absolutely loved staying in Skiathos but for me now it's been spoilt what with the huge increase in prices of sunbeds on the beaches and some even reserving them..unheard of !!! Sadly i wont be returning to My beautiful little hotel, Skiathos, and my friend Vana.. sorry

This was my 3rd trip to this hotel, with two friends. Vana, Athe ( daughter ) and Maria make a brilliant team, ( mr hotel owner, please treat them well ! ) the position of the hotel is amazing, aircon works 100%. Skiathos is a beautiful island , and the people are genuine & welcoming ! My friends & I are already discusiing our return for 2026, and we only got back to the hotel 3/9/26.

This is a superb hotel located so near the main street of the town and yet far enough away not to hear any noise. Also just 10 minutes from the main bus route. This is the third time I have been here with my friends. The hotel is small compared with the big resorts but that makes it cosy. A small swimming pool with sunbeds, never a sunbed war, and small bar. It only does bed and breakfast which is what we want but restaurants start just 5 minutes away. The hotel is run by 3 girls Vana, Athe ( daughter ) and Maria who make a brilliant team. The rooms are fully equipped with the fridge being full of drinks and snacks, which are chargeable. They even provide two beach towels in a bag to save you having to pack your own. Definitely a must. Looking at booking again next year

I have just returned from my 4th visit to this lovely hotel, What i wasn't told when I booked it this time was that a massive building has been joined onto it..it blocks all the sunshine from around the pool and patio area. Well you get a couple of hrs in the morning at the far end where the table is..then you get 2hrs max in the afternoon between 2pm and 4pm..that's it. Im a solo traveller and used to love to spend a few days around the pool..saying that, the saving grace for this hotel.is Vana and the 2 girls..Althea & Maria.. they are wonderful can't do enough for you..Vana is my friend for life..but sadly I won't be returning not only to this hotel but to Skiathos. It's got so busy and the sunbed situation on the beaches is ridiculous..I was getting charged €15 for one..and they are so crammed together you're practically sitting on your neighbours lap..the prices have really gone up ( yes I know..same everywhere) but im afraid I didn't plan on spending that much everyday on sunbeds..Yes Skiathos is a beautiful island but my time is done here. Thank you VANA for some wonderful memories..

First class hotel. Lovely and clean with very friendly staff. Near to the Main Street but far enough away to be very quiet of an evening. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff at this hotel. Would not hesitate to return.

Thymis is a sweet friendly hotel run by three amazing women! It is literally steps away from the main street, which makes evening wandering a pleasure. Vana together with her daughter Athne and Maria on reception make sure that you need nothing. They were so helpful to our group of 6 ladies that we felt by the end of the two weeks we had become best friends. The hotel is very well maintained and the rooms are pristine clean. The pool is more of a splash pool so would not be good for serious swimmers, but the little courtyard is beautiful at night and a few times we were brought wine and snacks and we sat chatting before going our for dinner. Highly recommended

Hotel in posizione comodissima, a due passi dalla via principale della cittadina. Hotel silenzioso, non si sente nulla. Camera piccola ma ottima pulizia. Personale gentilissimo, cordiale e attento. Colazione: meno ricca di altri hotel, ma molto buona. Inoltre, per la prima volta in Grecia, il caffè era davvero buono. Consiglio vivamente a tutti coloro che vogliono alloggiare in centro.

The night was amazing at thymi’s home with a nice atmosphere and very welcoming staff, also the hotel music was wonderful and relaxing especially in the afternoons if you combine it with the pool and a drink!

I can’t say enough positive things about this hotel, 5 star luxury, staff couldn’t do enough, so friendly. The breakfast was amazing, from 8-11 am so you could have a lay in if needed. Great location within reach of the port, bars shops . Would definitely go there again
