The rooms want clean, there are was some dirt in the floor. Many things are broken I. The toilet: the flash, the water regulator, cheap amenities

Excellent service and the best aprt is the rooftop dining area. Although rooks are okayish the food is great and it's 5 mins walking distance from Thamel.

Beware of the old photos on Trip.com which are misleading, we booked a suite and got a lower value room which was dark, dirty and noisy

I stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is located in a convenient commercial area. Rooms are clean and cozy. Overall, a comfortable stay – highly recommended.

My stay at Timber House in Kathmandu was incredible! The staff—Ram, Rabita, Parbati, and Oman—were warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, making me feel right at home. The rooftop restaurant and bar offer stunning views of the Kathmandu Valley and delicious food—perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The rooms were well-appointed and spacious, with a huge bathroom and thoughtful touches throughout. I also appreciated the reasonably priced airport transfers, which made arrival and departure a breeze. With its heartwarming hospitality, great amenities, and amazing value for money, Timber House is a place I’ll gladly return to soon!

The hotel is not bad and the distance to the city is not too long - but room can be a bit noisy during the night. The heating system is loud and you can hear the ventilation from next rooms. Yes, the staff is friendly, the owner is a nice guy, there is a lot of parking space but - there is a risk you will not have a good sleep.

部屋は広くて立地も良いです。しかし、部屋がタバコ臭い、エアコンから水が落ちる、小さなゴキブリを10匹くらい见ました。朝食はおいしかったです。朝食时に提供されるコーヒーとお茶は无料ですが、夫が知らずにアメリカーノと注文してしまい、チェックアウト时に2杯分请求されました。

Located in a good part of town, many shops around. Refurbished room. Outstanding breakfasts! An all-around excellent value.
