Clean room, comfy bed, no hair dryer provided, so take your own, very good welcome. We did book a room with a bath as we are walkers, but we were given a room with shower only. Parking is tricky as only allowed one night free and parking is a nightmare in Weymouth, it’s all permit parking or pay machines.
First impression of the owner / manager, was not very good, smelt of alcohol, dressed inappropriate, no shoes, scruffy in tracksuit.
Staircase smelt of people smoking.
No fire instructions in the property/ room, which the fire alarm did sound with no instructions.
Bed mattress was very old.
Litter bins on the landing over loaded with bottles and food for 24 hrs.
Entrance cobwebs and very untidy.

If you like to stay in a place that is very, very tired and also isn't very clean (particularly the bathroom) with towels that smell like mould and are grey in colour with the same smell on the bedding then Timrick Lodge is the ideal place for you to stay!!
Nice welcome by staff/ owner. Room wasn’t cleaned properly. The en-suite bathroom had a very bad smell of mould. Was told on arrival that there were no housekeeping services anymore. I had to ask for towels as none were left in the room and when I received it, it had tooth paste on it. States free parking, this is not true all streets around the lodge are permit parking only, so had to use a car park and pay and walk back to the lodge. Property is very tired and could do with a good clean and update. If you want a bed for the night and not overly fussy on cleanliness it’s ok. Apart from booking in didn’t see any staff.

Booked a small double room for one night. Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly helpful staff. Good location not far from the sea front. Would stay again. Nice tv, good shower. Ideal place for a short break. kettle, tea ,coffee provided. Enjoyed my stay. Did a fast boat trip to Durdle door and watched the fireworks. Great short break.
Well we stayed just 2 nights, I had plenty of communication with owners, I asked for some flowers and pink prosecco in the room, this was no bother and was perfect. We arrived much later than planned but they stayed up for us without any fuss. Yes breakfast would of been nice but there are plenty of places serving breakfast nearby so no big deal. If I had to criticise at all the bathroom could do with a revamp bit it was perfectly useable and clean.
Had to wait outside in 0 degrees for 20 minutes to check in. Free parking is a 10 minute walk away if theres a space on the road. Room very small. Shower dirty. Would not stay again.
When we got there Andy gave us a lovely welcome and was so helpful, our room was lovely and clean and smelt lovely,would definitely recommend to our family and friends and dog friendly so that’s a bonus to us, was only a short walk to beach and shops too.
Well, what a brilliant stay we had, fantastic welcome, the lovely lady that does the cleaning, you are brilliant, room was spotless!!! She also reminded me the owners name which I had forgot, it was Rick with a silent p at the front...I was able to take my dog, which was also brilliant..my mum and uncle also stayed with me, we all had an absolute fantastic stay here. Would highly recommend ??
