Tombo House immediately feels like a hidden tropical sanctuary. From the moment we arrived, Nora and Daniel welcomed us with a level of warmth and authenticity that instantly sets this place apart. The whole property is quiet, green, beautifully maintained and full of small details that show how much love has gone into creating it. - Rooms & Balconies - Our apartment was modern, spotless and far more refined than we expected. Everything is mosquito-safe and well designed, and the large balcony overlooking the treetops was one of our favorite places to start the day. Watching monkeys move through the branches while having our morning coffee was simply amazing. - Pool & Outdoor Areas - The natural pool is peaceful and beautifully integrated into the garden. It’s the kind of place where you can lose track of time without even trying. A few monkeys may try to grab your snacks when you’re in the water, but it just adds to the charm of being surrounded by wildlife. - Food & Breakfast - Breakfast was a highlight, freshly prepared and lovingly presented. I was completely surprised to find quail eggs on the menu. When I asked if I could try a fried quail egg, the answer was, “Let me check if the quails laid some.” Knowing that so much of the food is homegrown or freshly collected makes the experience feel even more special. And although the place is listed as a B&B, the food served throughout the day easily reaches full restaurant quality. - Hosts & Service - Nora and Daniel are wonderful hosts who genuinely care about their guests, and their team is just as friendly and supportive. It’s rare to find a place that feels this personal without ever feeling intrusive. Their warmth elevates the entire experience. - Location - Tombo House is not directly on the beach, which makes it wonderfully calm and peaceful. A tuktuk arrives within seconds and takes you to the ocean in just a couple of minutes, so the location never feels inconvenient. We stayed in several places during our Kenya trip, and Tombo House is by far the most charming, clean and lovingly designed. A true gem in Diani and an easy recommendation.

The breakfast included us amazing. Eggs made to order, sausage/bacon, yogurt, fruit, juice, the best coffee I had in Kenya, and a wonderful selection of breads. The staff was lovely… each and every one. The pool is small but well cared for and clean. I liked being off the beaten track and yet only a couple of blocks away from the beach. I was traveling solo so for safety paid a local to walk me back to the hotel after dinner on the beach. I was very sad to leave this little heaven

Die Unterkunft ist etwas versteckt in der N?he eines Waldes. Für uns perfekt, weil es ruhig und sehr grün war. Der Strand ist Fu?l?ufig erreichbar. Das Personal ist ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir würden das Tombo House jederzeit empfehlen!

Nicht ganz einfach zu finden aber es hat sich gelohnt. Sehr professionell von einem Deutschen Ehepaar geführt. Die Zimmer sind sensationell, alles neu und extrem grosszügig (65m2) und wir hatten einen grossen Balkon mit tollem Blick in den Urwald. Jedes Detail stimmt, bequemes grosses Bett, Grohe Armaturen mit Regendusche und tolles Frühstück, freundliche Mitarbeiter. Die Klimaanlage wird mit 15$ t?glich separat abgerechnet, aber jetzt Ende Juni brauchten wir keine. Das Hotel ist nicht am Strand, dafür sch?n ruhig und es fühlt sich an wie zuhause. Wir waren absolut zufrieden.

This resort was the most Magical and Peaceful place I've ever stayed. The staff deserves a raise because of how attentive and nice they were. The breakfast was so delicious and there was endless options to choose from. I enjoyed my stay so much I didn't want to leave the property. The only suggestion I would have is to offer dessert on their menu. But I would recommend Tombo House to anyway who wants to enjoy nature and wants to get away from the boring ambience of chain hotels.

A Wonderful stay My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights. I have traveled in work for 30 years and have stayed have more than 1000 hotel nights. Our aim was to relax and get away from our busy lives This place delivered. Very relaxed environment full of trees and wild life. Large rooms with lovely coastal designs. Very well ventilated. Lovely dipping pool. The staff is warm and the cocktails are cold. The beaches are very close and alot of places to go for food. We wanted a get away, we found paradise.

Nora and her husband are excellent hosts, they went above and beyond for me during my stay. They helped book transportation and were very kind. I am sorry I couldn’t have stayed longer. The setting and the apartments are beautiful and very comfortable. Very highly recommended

Чистые, аккуратные номера. Месторасположение в спокойном месте, не слышно уличной суеты. Далеко от пляжа. Обратите внимание - за кондиционер нужно отдельно доплатить. В номере только вентилятор, но в 30* жару - он не спасет. Очень вкусные блины на завтрак, сам завтрак - тоже отличный.

Excellent property! Clean, modern, great food, especially breakfast and bar bites. Excellent pool and love the eco friendly vibe. We booked a room with AC and we were blown away by the view and the rooftop relaxation area. We will definitely be back when visiting Diani!
