Everything was absolutely wonderful. We were able to sit and eat breakfast while watching the snow fall. It was breathtaking. From the fireplace to the hot tub, it was all just perfect.
Loved the room it was super cozy with the personal fireplace and loved the jacuzzi tub. It was located in a great location- just a short walk to the main ***** of stores and restaurants. Cant wait to go back again. Also, the cookies every evening were delicious ??
The inn is truly beautiful, picturesque and exactly what we were looking for. perfect location, easily walkable to everything from the wharf and shopping areas to the mansions and beach. Staff was friendly and welcoming! Would love to stay again! Thank you for having us.
The B&B was an amazing home. Five beautiful bedrooms with different amenities. We arrived and were met by Liz. She showed us around and filled us in. She also upgraded us which was fantastic and really appreciated. Plenty of parking, which is good to have available in Newport. This home is in a perfect location. We walked to town where all the shops , wharf and restaurants are. She recommended many places for us. We were less than 2 miles from the Mansion’s and Cliff Walk. We parked at the Breaker’s Mansion and took a fun Cliff Walk. Later in the evening we had reservations for the Breakers Mansion Sparkling Lights tour. Also, did a tour of the Mansion which was included in the admission cost. The B&B , as I said, was amazing. Snacks and coffee and tea always out and available. Breakfast was really good , homemade each morning and served. It was great both days. There is a gym for use, also. The home was very clean and super quiet. The rooms are very roomy with TV. Highly recommend. Liz is amazing and always willing to assist.
We had an amazing time at the Hilltop Inn. The breakfast was delicious and the other amenities in the home were so thoughtful- snacks, tea, coffee, and Xmas music playing softly on the first level. We stayed in the Murray room and we enjoyed it so much! From the gas fireplace to the jacuzzi tub, and the charming decor. It was in a fantastic location as well. We’ll definitely be back! We spent a few days here over Christmas. The house itself is lovely and nicely-decorated. Our room was clean, cozy, and quiet. Coffee, tea, and snacks are available at all times, but breakfasts were just OK, maybe slightly disappointing. Also, the common rooms on the first floor were on the chilly side with uncomfortable furniture, so we did not use these spaces, though we likely would have if they were more welcoming. I would rate it a 4.5 if I could, but I can't, so I'm giving it a 4.
Parking is not close to accommodation and the stairs to the accommodation are significant to carry luggage up unassisted. This should have been flagged at time of booking. Mattress on bed was too large for the base, resulting in soft sides of the bed. Breakfast was lovely. Accommodations are close by each other and you are partially overlooking the neighbouring unit’s roof from the balcony as well as the view.
Very cozy, ornate, and wonderful amenities and hospitality. A must experience if visiting. The Tuoro room was fabulous. Great jacuzzi bathtub with water jets. Shower has so many different fixtures, it was a symphony of water.
