Dear Sonali R , Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback following your stay at Tri Koggala. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that certain aspects of your visit did not meet your expectations, especially regarding the in-room amenities and the arrival experience. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the unlit pathways and the lack of clear signage at check-in. We understand how this could be confusing, especially for first-time visitors, and we are already taking steps to improve both lighting and directional signage to ensure a smoother and safer arrival experience. Regarding your comments about in-room amenities such as tea/coffee, TV, and a mini fridge — we’d like to share some context around these choices. At Tri, our philosophy is rooted in eco-luxury and simplicity. We intentionally do not place TVs or mini fridges in rooms in order to minimise noise, reduce energy consumption, and maintain a sense of peace and harmony with nature. However, if guests wish to chill any personal items, we are always happy to store them upon request. Similarly, we do not include tea and coffee-making facilities in the rooms because we believe in offering our guests a freshly brewed cup served with a homemade cookie or slice of cake — a touch we hope adds to the experience. That said, if any guest prefers to have tea or coffee amenities in-room, we’re more than happy to provide them upon request. We’re grateful for your kind words about our team’s helpfulness and the dinner you enjoyed, as well as the beautiful lake view and peaceful surroundings. These moments are at the heart of what we strive to offer. Thank you again for your thoughtful feedback. While we regret that you will not be returning, we do hope your future experiences with the Amaya Boutique Collection reflect the improvements we are working on. Warm regards,
