Petit h?tel accueillant en bord de plage. La piscine est la plus belle de notre voyage, à une température idéale. Dommage que les transats et les tables autour ne soient pas entretenus ou remplacés. Notre chambre familiale était très agréable et confortable. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Nous recommandons.

This is a great, family friendly place to stay, steps from a good snorkeling spot, with great airy rooms with lifts, plenty of AC, a generous breakfast, and world class customer service on the part of the whole staff, particularly management, who helped resolve issues with Agoda and were very solicitous throughout our stay.

Lovely little bungalows just off the turtle side of the island. I would have been perfect had it not been for the Raja bar a couple of doors down who seem to have zero consideration for anyone else with their nightly parties. However we still extended our stay despite the lack of sleep because this place is adorable. Baysir is lovely and super helpful, helping us stay longer and arranging bikes, calling boat companies etc. sitting and watching the sunrise just outside the front each morning was my highlight, occasionally seeing a turtle pop up. The kids loved the pool. Breakfast is simple but you don’t need anything more and for what you pay here it’s just great value. We will be back!

We booked a last-minute trip to Gili Air and found Turtle Beach. Situated on the beach, with a number of great restaurants and bars nearby. The bungalow is spacious and more traditional Indonesian style. It had a loft for a potential third guest. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the outside bathroom was ok. Remember you are on an island - the water pressure is not going to be fantastic, but it is hot. Breakfast had a good choice between noodles, rice, cereal, eggs, fruit and pancakes. The pool provided pleasant relief from the heat but did need a bit of a clean. You will need booties to use the beach directly opposite, but nicer beaches are only five to ten minutes walk away (near Zipp), you can also rent a bike from out the front. The staff were friendly and accommodating. A good budget option with a pool. I would stay here again if I came back to Gili Air.

My wife and I stayed at Turtle Beach Hotel for 10 days in August 2023. It is one of the few mid-range beachfront properties with a pool on Gili Air, and is located on the sunrise side of the island looking towards Lombok. There are numerous restsurants and bars in close proximity. Good snorkelling can be had straight off the beach in front of the hotel. We saw turtles every day. Gili Air is extremely chilled and overall we had a lovely relaxing stay. All of the accommodation is in thatched roof joglo - style Bungalows on either side of the pool. The Bungalows furthest from the beach have no view, and the bungalows backing onto the neighbouring Raja Bar may have some noise issues at night. We only occasionally heard the all from the mosque in the centre of the island, and it was too far away to be any issue. Breakfast each morning was adequate with toast, eggs, fruit and coffee. The onsite restaurant wasn't open for food other than breakfast, but Biba Beach Village hotel next door would do room or poolside service if you wanted. Bicycles and mask/snorkle/fins are available for hire (50k per day) from in front of the hotel. (Bike lights don't work so bring a head torch with you). The manager of Turtle Beach was friendly, attentive and engaging, however most of the staff were young, untrained and had little clue about what they were expected to do. The rooms were large with four poster beads, mosquito nets, AC, room safe and fridge. All rooms had a balcony with a couple of basic chairs. Wifi was pretty useless. The bathroom was set below the room level, with a set of wooden stairs to enter it, which always worried my wife at night as her mobility isn't great. One of the lights in our room was hanging by the wires and only worked intermittently. The shower was cold. The room was serviced daily. The pool was large, and the water clean, although the area around the pool was pretty dusty and grubby and rarely cleaned by the staff. The sun loungers were in various states of repair. I found this lack of simple maintenance a bit frustrating. The beachfront area was also very underutilised, with the furniture needing repair. Overall though, we had a very relaxing stay and the maintenance issues were more frustrating than problematic. Laundry can be done same day just around the corner at Banana Cottages for 25k/kg. The best dinner deals on the sunrise side were at Chillout BBQ. Next door Biba Beach hotel did good espresso coffee.

Amazing staff, the pool is perfect temperature even at night! Great place to snorkel out front and a good breakfast when waking up ???? there is a nice book selection to read if you’re an avid reader!

I came to Gili Island with my brother and he had a cabin separately to mine. We loved it there, loved the open roof shower although the pressure was very low. The Toilet needed to be flushed 3x before anything went down. It was very spacious and even had a bed up on the loft where you could easily sleep also...the air conditioning was perfect. We are not precious and easy travelers so the cabins were a joy to stay in, our balcony faced the relaxing pool and had plenty of beautiful plants and trees to give you privacy and on the right was the beach. Very chilled and the service was friendly and helpful too. The fridge was the best fridge ever!!
