Val d‘or Estates was just the perfect choice! Everything was perfect. Location, rooms, breakfast and service. There was not one single topic for which I would say that needs to be improved. If we come back to that region, this is going to be our choice for sure

The staff is very, very friendly and helps you with all. The breakfast is georgeous. We were lucky as returning guests and got the luxury of an upgrade. Thanks again, even the other rooms are very nice too. Nice pools in a large garden.

Advertise internet when there is no secure internet connection. Almost no flow of water to the shower. Like showering with a tea pot

Prachtig domein zoals je ziet op de foto’s. Ruime kamers en badkamer maar voor zijn 4 sterren toch enkele werkpunten. Als je op details let dan is de afwerking hier en daar heel slordig (zie foto’s). Ons terrasje met meubeltjes zat onder de vogelpoep en was dus niet bruikbaar. Jammer. Ontbijt was ok maar voor 4 sterren verwacht je wel meer; 2 soorten brood, bruin en wit verder niks van gebak. Yoghurt, musli en vers fruit wel ok, beleg enz ook. Fruitsappen uit dozen, precies limonade. Er is een prachtige tuin met zwembad en een cottage met grote ramen waar ze nu een fitness hebben ingezet. Zo jammer dat ze dit niet gebruiken als bistro aan het zwembad of om het ontbijt te doen. Tafels en stoeltjes staan er wel maar niks te krijgen, geen bediening. De mogelijkheden om hier een volwaardig 4 sterrenverblijf te maken zijn er maar worden naar ons gevoel niet benut. Vriendelijk personeel zoals overal in ZA.

A perfect room/apartment for our family. Franschhoek is absolutely beautiful and this estate was the perfect place to stay for our family. Lovely surroundings, great pool and great breakfast on the terrace.

We had a wonderful stay at this estate, located in the direction of Stellenbosch. Very quiet at night, good aircon. All facilities in the kitchen you need.

Het is een heerlijke plek, rustig en kleinschalig. Elke ochtend is er een lekker ontbijt en de kamers zijn heel ruim en schoon. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, ook met tips om de omgeving te verkennen. Het is makkelijk te vinden en op korte afstand van het centrum van Franschoek.
