The hotelier, when contacted over the phone the night before the check in, denied check in on the date scheduled despite my having a confirmed booking as well as having made the full payment in advance. This unexpected and unbecoming behavior from them sleepless night and anxious hours till juhu singh assured me that the issue has been resolved successfully. Even after that i was wary enough how they will be treating me when i check in, because of the mistrust that had been generated. However, i didn't face ill treatment after the actual check in. The property is located conveniently at the kasol bazaar, the very heart of the town of kasol. Starting point for c halal trek is very close to the property. The name hotel valley view, however, is a misnomer. You won't have any valley view right from your room. Food was good. As regards amenities, basic amenities all were provided although i did expect an essentials kit having toilet soap, toothbrush, toothpaste and the likes, a dustbin, the foot propeller of which works, separate towels for each guest and a wardrobe with it's hanging rod in place to hang dresses from.

Its in the middle of kasol market and not too congested when i visited in november. Since its in the middle of the market you can explore market on the both side and stay out till late as it the area where most of the tourists roam around till late in the night. Hotel is affordable too. Just one suggestion whenever you visit cold places like manali, kasol take your personal room heater as it can cost you extra 500 per night otherwise.

Stay was ok but there was smell in the washroom and broken items like mug and stool in the washroom
