The unit was comfortable and convenient but is in desperate need of maintenance. The blinds were falling off in the living room, there was mold on the heating in the primary bathroom, the toilet holder in the primary bathroom fell off the wall, the toaster did not work and the bottom was stuck on with duct tape. They did replace the 4 slice toaster with a small 2 slice which was so small that the bread did not fit in properly. The kitchen was otherwise well stocked and the staff were very friendly. We picked the building for the location but on the first week after Thanksgiving there is often not enough snow to access the main Vail skiing from Lionshead which was the case this year so we had to take the bus. We had a great view of the mountain but next year they are building a 6 story building right in front of this property so the view will be blocked. We had a very good stay but if you are looking for upgraded or luxury accommodation this is not the pace for you.

Great Location, Comfortable Condo
Vantage Point is a great location for those wishing to ski. It is an easy walk (circa 5 minutes) to the gondola and the bus system into Vail Village is easy to use. Vail 21 Sports is located across the parking lot (between the condo and gondola), making it the perfect place to rent and store skis if needed.
The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with a variety of pans and dishes. The only complaint is that the hot water tank for a condo meant to house four people was quite small. Maintenance quickly responded and turned up the temperature after we had two instances of cold showers, but you definitely couldn't get four showers on a tank the size of what is in the condo.
Otherwise, the condo was the perfect retreat after a fun day on the slopes.

The vantage point was great. The location was amazing just steps from the gondola. You are at the lionshead free bus stop. They change the towels daily and take out the garbage. They unit itself is a little dated but everything was clean and well maintained. I would definitely stay here again.
