The hotel staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to ensure our stay and experience in Chania was special. We arrived late into Crete and to the hotel and were welcomed by Ann (reception) who had already called my mobile to make sure everything was ok. Throughout our visit the staff were excellent. The location of the hotel is within a 10 minutes walk of the town centre and the majority of this can be along the harbours and beautiful coast. Would recommend this hotel if you are keen to stay outside the town but require easy access to the harbour and into town. Breakfast was on the front terrace over looking the coast. The staff were happy to accommodate requests for breakfast- not something i've ever experienced at larger hotels. Thanks to all the staff- we rarely return to the same holiday destination but we will to Villa Andromeda !
Exceptional Villa with the most amazing view! The rooms are spacious and very clean! The Villa keeps the traditional style and is well kept. The outdoor pool and garden are great with plenty of shade. The staff are exceptionally welcoming and friendly ; the ladies that keep the house clean and serve our breakfast are the heart and soul of the villa! The breakfast includes homemade jams and Cretan traditional food that was delicious. The villa is very close to the old town of Chania and very close to 2-3 of the nearest beaches. Highly recommended
A beautiful restored mansion which transports you into the fairytale world of your long lost great aunt. That is if your great aunt was a wealthy diplomat's wife. The service is warm and personal. The rooms are vintage in a delightfully comfortable way. Breakfast is customized each day to your preferences and a delicious array of choices are available. The only slight downside is the pool garden. While the pool is large and dreamy, it does attract swarms of mosquitoes (the only ones we encountered during two weeks exploring Crete). All in all a wonderful property that you should not hesitate booking.
Andromeda was the perfect place for our 3 night stay in Chania. It is a gracious building that had served as the German Embassy to Crete back in the day. It is well located outside just outside center city overlooking the sea, with easy access to everything in the area, while avoiding the hustle bustle of the central toursit area. The staff was uniformly gracious, accommodating, friendly and extremely helpful. The room was a very comfortable, spacious suite. We enjoyed breakfast and generally relaxing with in the garden and around the large pool. We had a wonderful stay!

Historical opulence with contemporary attention to detail and the friendliest Cretan hospitality made this stay the best start to holiday. Anna, Irene and team could not do enough to make our stay perfect. From fresh flowers in the room on arrival, comfortable beds, gorgeous pool and gardens to perfectly served breakfast over looking the harbour was just the best! Can’t praise this enough ??
Charming mansion, great location about 15 minute walk to old Chania along the ocean boardwalk. Lovely full breakfast on the outdoor patio overlooking the sea. Best part are the people who work there, all very warm and welcoming, nothing is a problem. Car parking in the back is an added bonus, highly recommend!
Beautiful property not far from the centre of Chania. Lovely and friendly staff, they make you feel at home from the very moment you step in. We were treated to welcoming fruit and beverages in our room when we arrived. Our room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was very good - we chose to have it on the balcony facing the sea, a great way to start the day! The ladies serving breakfast were so friendly and accommodating. Special mention for the home-made jams, delicious. I would definitely stay here again.
My husband and I enjoyed our weeks stay so much at your beautiful hotel. It feels like a wonderful family run hotel, with nothing too much trouble. The pool and the breakfast are real highlights. Can't recommend Villa Andromeda enough. Thank you Anna, Irene, Katarina and Ava...Ava, your plum jam is so tasty.
Nous avons passé trois nuits dans cet établissement que nous avons beaucoup apprécié. C’est une belle maison, ancienne ambassade, idéalement située puisqu’il est très facile de rejoindre le centre historique à pied. La chambre était confortable, sur deux étages. Bon petit déjeuner que les clients peuvent prendre dans différents endroits, nous avons particulièrement apprécié la terrasse. Enfin les arbres, la piscine sont très agréable dans la chaleur de l’après midi crétois . Personnel cordial et attentif. On se sent vraiment à l’aise dans cet endroit que l’on recommande si vous cherchez un endroit intime.
Nous avons passé 3 jours dans cette merveilleuse Villa Elle est située idéalement, à la fois au calme et toute proche de Chania D'excellents resto en contrebas de la villa et en bord de mer!! Nous avons tout aimé : l'accueil chaleureux de nos h?tesses, la chambre duplex vue sur mer et très bien équipée Les petites attentions, fruits, eau et vin blanc offerts?? Enfin le choix des emplacements pour prendre un bon petit dej Bref nous y reviendrons et nous le conseillons !!
