Nice hotel just a few steps from the towncenter. Top Class Service, with excellent and helpful hotelowner. Vila Kale is in a quiet area of narrow streets. The room was beautiful and clean. Just outside the Hotel you find som stairs that lead directly down to the towncenter with all its facilities by only a five minutes walk. I really recommend this hotel. Thanks to its owner Stefan Kovaceski for a wonderful stay?? Sincerely Heidi Nordheim

Stunning location and a spotlessly clean hotel. The staff are all super friendly. Only slight negative was the Wi-Fi was not very strong, measured at only a few mbs download but apart from that we had a very pleasant stay. Highly recommended

Good little hotel but with flaws. My room ( 203 ) had a shower whose door had a sealing issue, thus, every time a shower was taken, water flooded the floor. The air conditioner would constantly shut off after only working a short while. The room / bathroom were clean and a good size. There’s no safe deposit box and no lift ( elevator ). The hotel is on a high hill, and the streets are cobblestone, so persons with unsteady footing, I would not recommend coming to this location. It is a pleasant, 10 minute walk, down ( and back up ) the hill to the town. The WiFi always worked, though the signal was weak at times. I stayed 6 nights which was a mistake. Ohrid is lovely, but I think 3 nights would be the most I would recommend. The bus from Skopje takes 3 hours, and the taxi to the hotel is 10 minutes. I found the service at the hotel perfunctory at best.
