Villa plori is a wonderful place to stay, directly on the delightful Makrigialos beach. The owners Manolis and Lena are delightful, so warm and friendly. The apartments are meticulously clean thanks to Vera, the cleaner who also maintains the garden. Sunbeds are provided for each apartment. The apartments have everything you need, air con, kitchen equipment, safety deposit box, plug in mosquito repellent, and hairdryer . There is also a secure car park opposite for guests . Excellent location with all bars and tavernas within a short walking distance.

It has been several years since we visited Villa Plori but nothing has changed. The same beautiful accommodation right on the beach and the same warm welcome from Lina and Manolis. Air conditioning, safe and sunbeds are included in the price; the accommodation is beautifully clean and the shower is better than the one we have at home! Beautiful location, every studio/apartment has same incredible sea view and you can walk to restaurants, shops etc. Such a relaxing place to be, two weeks was not long enough...

Our first stay at Villa Plori in 1995 was the perfect tonic for me to recuperate from major surgery. The sight of the tranquil sea & soft sand, a mere flip flop away from our balcony & scenery made me feel I had found paradise. Several holidays later, some taken in glorious areas of the world, the pearl, Villa Plori, has drawn us back time after time to our piece of paradise. We have recently returned from another 2 weeks stay at Villa Plori & felt it time to write a long overdue review. Villa Plori is situated perfectly in the middle of Makrigialos & right on the beach.We believe Makrigialos has one of the best beaches on the South east coast, with sand which shelves gently into the clear warm Libyan Sea. The village boasts an excellent selection of bars, and tavernas, many fronting onto the beach. In the small fishing harbour, a charming part to stroll around, there is a small cluster of waterfront bars, tavernas and restaurants.?Makrigialos is an ideal place for those looking for a quiet relaxing stay. Villa Plori has 8 stunning studios & 2 apartments across 2 floors, all spotlessly cleaned every day. They are individually furnished beautifully with comfortable beds & bedding, sofa & a lovely touch of cretan charm. The fabulous modern bathrooms are better than one would get in some 5* hotels. Kitchen area is well equipped, with kettle, coffee maker, small cooking hotplate, various pans, utensils, cutlery, tableware & fridge freezer. All studios & apartments boasting good sized private balconies with table, chairs, umbrella & fantastic sea views. WiFi & A/C come as standard along with free parking, sun-beds, umbrella & table. On arrival you are welcomed with a bottle of wine & water in the fridge, a lovely touch. Villa Plori is a real home from home. The superb hosts Manolis & Lena are more like friends to us, they “welcome” you with warmth & care & strive to ensure your stay is perfect. Settling you into your accommodation & helping with your luggage nothing is too much trouble, if you need something they will be pleased to help. Verra, the maid is a huge asset to Villa Plori, not only does she keep the rooms in a spotless condition with her cleanliness she tends the beautiful garden ,dead heading flowers & watering. Every morning cleans/brushes the sun-beds so they are sand free for the guests, such a hard worker. Manolis, Lena & family & Verra, A huge thank you once again for making our stay with you “perfect”.
